You know it serious once the Dozer rolls
SW Western Australia, we'd get dozers to pretty much anything larger than a pile burn. But it's dry and throws embers and there are plenty round with the foresty industry.
God be with all these men and women that go to the flames and fight 🙏be with you all
Matt Godell amen
You know the shit hit the fan when the tractor pulling the dozer trailer comes up the road with it's siren on. Thank you to these brave individuals who are racing to the fires
That dozer truck is bad ass!
Yep, out in Western Oklahoma where the wind never stops blowing they use the county graders to fight fires, works like a dream until you get stuck in the sand and have to run. They had a hunter that was out there and it came from the direction of his truck and he literally ran most of the night to keep away from it and took refuge in a cow water tank that was fed from a windmill. Talk about a bad day!
Fantastic Catches! That Dozer Rig was Awesome!
1:25 it’s been a long time since we seen that cal fire dozer
0:55 Dept of Corrections.
Prisoner fire fighters.
They need to pay those dudes and or commute their sentences with the possiblity to hire them as hotshots post with all the training and experience they get as long as they stay clean and meet with their probation officers. We need the man power with all the fires happening in California these past few years.
Cal Fire one of the few gov agencies that will hire a felon When they are released to continue to work for them.
@@gilc7626 Pretty sure there was a John Oliver story about the exact opposite of this.
That they don't pay them barely anything, and they can use them when their prisoners but won't hire them when they get out.
"California Law bars most people with a criminal record from becoming registered emergency responders"
ua-cam.com/video/AjqaNQ018zU/v-deo.html
So those trucks have prisoners in them who are trained fire fighters?
GunzGonda yes they have inmate crews along with regalar fire crews.
Nice catch love that code 3 dozer...................
Prayers for safe and successful ops
That’s awesome!! Great catches
First pickup is the fire investigator. The investigator is a POST-certified peace officer per California law and gets to roll with red and blue lights instead of red alone.
They also have that police style pushbar, near full duty gear (sidearm, cuffs, shotgun or long rifle.) I have seen a few on the road. There is a video in youtube of a CalFire LEO conducting a traffic stop as well!

Wow ! That first unit was a rare calfire law enforcement unit.
1:25 that truck is loud!
Not really. That sound is just it braking. Most trucks with compression braking sound like that.
You've never heard of Jake brake?? Now you have! That's music to my ear. 🎶🎵🎶
@@jackiechan_wtf4041 and it has a Cummins NTC series diesel, pre late 90s emissions stuff, back when trucks actually sounded like trucks.
Sweet Dodge at 1:02
Ol first gen! I own a restored one.
Everybody gangsta till CalFire rolls up with the dozer
Surprised they don’t give the heli tender code 3 lighting
Dirtman707 right? The dozer can go Code 3 but the helitack truck gets amber only?
53214 Vice Also the dozer tender only has amber lights and that is very confusing since technically it should be yielding to the dozer transport😂 At least the dozer tender in my unit has amber lights but the one in the video look like it had amber lights as well
Dirtman707 what is a heli tender?
Lund3000 Whenever a Cal fire helicopter is dispatched to an incident that Heli tender which is shown in the video also responds caring fuel an extra gear and parts for the helicopter
Amber lights lol 😆 downgraded🛴
Great catches!
HEROES COMING THROUGH
Never seen a tractor trailer responding code three before !
This was dope asf bro!!
Great catches on that one.
Love me some transport dozer 🔥

Good ole Mack
Looked like an international
@@Tractors_Trucks_And_Pups International.
@@mgp870 yeah, no bull dog and the internationals are very boxy on the front end just like the one in the video
Wow no stress trying to make it someplace quick and efficiently with a bulldozer. Usually when you're pulling something that big you just take your time and get there when you can. That thing should have a serious police escort just for safety
I wanted to hear the horn on the famous dozer in all of California 🚒🚒📢📢
The Mack Truck though
1:26 name of siren high pitch?
I'm fairly confident that its a high-pitched variation of the Federal Signal Unitrol 80K.
fancy type 4's and 3's.
International trucks are just beautiful 🙌🏻
I'm just wondering is that truck California emissions certified?
Giovanni Elmer How would it not be..lmfao
@@imsayrocket CA Exempt plates, no registration or renewal required.
Certified Dirty Idle
Sweet
You are going to be busy for a while.
I’m 100% sure that international pulling that low boy is not California compliant!! Do as we say, not as we do right 👍🏻
Just-in Case pre emissions truck. Ain’t broke don’t fix it. And besides probably doesn’t have enough miles to warrant its disposal
Anybody know what year and model that truck is
1:25 what siren does the dozer truck use
So is a Ben Lomond Firetruck comparable to a Ben Sopra GTR?
Asking for a friend :D
California has wildfires. Midwest gets snow at the same time.
Perry Crozier Think of the region. Also, its hard to put out a wildfire that size. It’s not gonna go out overnight.
What siren is that dozer using?
Federal Signal Unitrol 480k. Probably came out same year that truck did.
Definitely sounds like a 480k.
What's with the pickup at 3:52 racing the fire truck though the intersection, then getting in front of it?😡
Idiot trying to break check a fire truck.
Woot SMC FD/Cal Fire
C how is the name of the siren of the first car in the video?
Leonara ! Whelen Cencom saphire
Thanks
Leonara ! Noprobro
Did the first pickup have red and blue lights?
Yes
CAL FIRE "Prevention" officer. They are fully trained police officers.
👍
What does "Responding Code-3" mean?
Lights and sirens
@@Brian13549 gotcha, thank you B h
Museum piece
2:03 why was their siren not on IT'S supposed to be on!
It probably doesn't have a siren.
They were probably responding code 1 Since they didn't have lights and sirens going which would be as code 3 response , a few other units were like that. Those units were probably none-emergency mutual aide
2015 DODGE CHARGER SRT YT Oh cool, you’re the professional now?
@@207firephotography yes
Not code 3 certified vehicle, numb nuts. That's the truck that carries things for the helicopters. Like fuel. Saftey hazard for them to run code.
Did anyone else notice only CalFire rolled code 3? That's cause they're pretty full of themselves.
Jerry Cook bc they downgraded it after arriving
Notice how they probably had an hour+ of travel time
If only they spent as much money on tinder management as the do apparatus.
You should do your research and know what the department is responsible for.
Its kinda hard when you have to deal with an entire state notorious for wildfires
You will not pull out in front of that BIG FIRE TRUCKE.
watch this
Yeah, it's bad if the whole station responds but once the dozer rolls its time for serious business.
You post this for me? 😂😂😂😂😂
Shifty Schiff👿

0:55 & 1:54 - inmate work crews
There sure are a lot of idiots not pulling over
I would not have yield to them. They are not cops and such their siren means nothing
Actually in literally every state in the US (and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true in almost all other countries), you are required by law to yield to any emergency vehicle running lights and sirens. Fire, police, medical, it doesn’t matter.
Within the US laws vary state to state regarding yielding to volunteers running blue (or other color) lights, with most states either requiring people yield to them with failure to yield penalties identical to those for normal emergency vehicles, or requiring people yield but with reduced penalties. In the states where it’s not required, those lights are requesting right of way, and if you make a habit of ignoring them and a cop sees you, the two of you would probably be having a chat about that even if your actions aren’t inherently illegal in that state.
Or just go ahead and refuse to pull over, as long as you promise to not complain when no one yields to them when they’re trying to get to your house that’s burning down or your family member who’s dying. Oh, and most if not all emergency vehicles have dash cams as required by various insurance and county/state regulations so your failure to yield and license plate will be recorded in full color and you’ll get a ticket in the mail if you actually try that.
@@MidnightPhoenix07 lmao, yes if a cop sees me I can get a ticket. As for dash camera, register owner is not responsible for the action of the driver so keep dreaming. Lastly that is why I have fire insurance.
@@MidnightPhoenix07 Michael Lawn is just a troll. He doesn't care about anyone. He could care less if his own family member was trapped in a house fire. Because that's what his fire insurance is for because it can replace his house and the family member that was lost.
@@Brian13549 My family will be just fine. I have fire sprinklers in the house.
We all know that you are posting solely in order to provoke a reaction Mr. Lawn! No reasonable thinking person would accept your spurious statement as anything other than provocative and infantile. Too much time on your hands: go find a community organisation that needs some labour and do something useful with all that spare time.
