Keep coming back to this! Thinking about heading up there Monday! Idk how much fishing we would actually do because we will have the kiddos and they like exploring more but looks like we will be checking it out at least!
Both of the big areas are easily accessed inside the park! Kids can splash and you can cast. You would think with it being so easy to get to it would be hard fishing but they’re pretty active here. It’s definitely worth just visiting and seeing the place.
It really is and all the deep sections have road side pull offs for easy access to them. It’s my understanding there’s very large cats in there amongst the bass and bluegill
@PuddleWalkersOutdoors yes. Public access is mostly non existsant on this creek. We're lucky to have this stretch. Also, people often debate on whether cataract lake has blue catfish or not, and it most definitely does. I have slammed some monster blues in that creek. As well as perch, bowfin, and white bass.
@Travis-FNG I’ve caught a few blues. I understand they don’t stock them but I’ve seen this creek make the waterfall disappear. I’m certain they make their way to the lake.
Stunning place. The lake has big bluff walls all throughout with two big creeks pouring into it. Amazing crappie and flathead fishing. The bass fishing is subpar but there are some 5s and whatnot. I go for the creek crappie and lake flatheads.
Me neither!! Who would’ve thought right 😂 my son had a friend send him a pic of a 5lb smallmouth he had recently caught here. I took it as a sign I better get to fishing it.
Hey! Im somewhat local and have been wanting to head out there. Do you start at the lower falls and make your way to the upper? Looks like a great area to throw some flies around.
I start at the upper. There’s a road right before the falls entrance. If you take that road it will circle down in between. There’s a yellow gate. Park there follow the trail to the creek/bottom of the upper falls.
Love the video thats a great spot my brother and my dad like to go there a lot it’s a great spot nice catches
Thanks for the kind words. It is a great place to fish. There’s some big ones hiding in there

Looks like a nice lil spot i may need to make my way up to millcreek this year
It’s legit for big fish. Some stellar cats in here I’ve been told. I’m gonna get around to trying for them soon
Very fun to watch!! Great job my friend! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! Fun place to explore
Looks like a really nice place. I'll try and get down there as soon as I can. Thanks for the video Greg.

I really enjoyed this one. Mills creek is responsible for the best day of fishing in my life. It's a true gem.
It really is. I would love to explore more of it but she’s held close to private owners. This short stretch is pretty solid.

Liber is my number 1 fishing spot, and I have never fished this area . Putting it on my list

My boys and I love fishing Mill Creek.
I’m quickly learning to love it.
It's hard to put that Zombie Frog down. Those smallmouth love attacking that lure. Beautiful area to fish!
I tried a few colors before that one and it’s the color that got the response. It’s very productive

@@PuddleWalkersOutdoors thanks so much! Hopefully I can make it out sometime this week or next.
@CoffeeandKeebs you’re welcome! Check Doe Creek too. It’s another off the lake and it’s got a good largemouth population this year.
Me and my brother like to fish a doe creek every time we pass we go oh know hopefully the puddlewalkers aren’t there lol
