I couldn't agree more with all comments in here. Your contribution to those who love this passion, for me , has been and will be extraordinary, thanks.
I understand Sir Tony. Not ashamed to admit I might be a bit tearful right now though. You truly changed my life when I had no hope left. Thank you for all the wonderful direction and instruction. I will always be indebted to you for helping me to remember I am worthy of creating and contributing. Big love always to you, yours, and Pablo. 😢❤
Tony, this is very sad news - for me, it was more than your artwork, it was more about your comments on life in general, past history & feelings of being disillusioned with traditional teaching methods that led you to abandon art for 30 years. I am 80 years old now and the similarities in our life history is truly uncanny & since coming across your YT videos, I have gained confidence in how I think about things in general. I have also found the joy of charcoal portraiture and I will truly miss your daily 'ramblings' that I considered to be 'words of wisdom'. Thank you Tony for your generous time, you have done more for my mental health than I can express. Thank goodness I purchased your lessons that I can always refer to for guidance. All the best to you & your family, not forgetting Pedro. PS: I hope you do decide to upload occasionally.
Cheers Tony thanks for your speedy reply hopefully we can have further contact...probably we will never meet in person..but I want you to know that I regard you as a close ...but albeit distant pal...who knows what the future may bring ...I can't thank you enough ..Jim
I'm condused. This video is simply pics portraits, beautiful as they are. The other comments imply that you are leaving YT. I'm devastated to hear this news. I watched your videos ever evening, not always in order. Umfortunately, I missed the one where you made this announcement. I cant tell you how disappointing this is for me. You inspired me to buy charcoal supplies and started me portraiture. Please upload some of your videos for us to just rewatch. I sure hope you are back soon.
Ohhh, Tony, I'd only just found you and really enjoyed watching you draw. Dagnabit! But, hey, the dreaded UA-cam burnout must have happened, I guess. You'll be missed.
I hope you return to uploading, that was some of the most enjoyable content on youtube for me. Your creative output was inspiring and having those live streams to go back to to put on in the background while drawing was great. Best of luck with everything regardless!
There are too many great artists on YT and my videos get buried under them. So YT doesn't promote my videos. If you want to see and listen to them sign up on my website and I'll send you them privately :)
@@gavkynman Ayup, I've not sent out any links in the past. The lessons I do are just for my paying students, however, I'm thinking of sending links to the lives directly to those people who would appreciate my insights. :)
@@TonySwabyI'm shocked and saddened😢. I had no idea YT did this. Keep up the great work Tony. I'll watch everything you post. We may be in a minority but you do have fans out there. 👏👏👏👏
Oh my God! You are such a wonderful artist, with a high crowd following your live drawings and thoughtful advices, and now all the videos are gone! Why YT would do this?

I hope you don't stop loading YT content. I already miss your work !!
I might now and again, but nothing like I did :)
Will you add any new lessons for purchase on your website ?

Would that be on the 'contact' part of the website Tony? I've never received anything through there so I guess I'm not signed up?

Thank you :) You're in a minority I'm afraid, certainly YT didn't think so.
