Great vid you guys. It is somehow comforting to sit here in cold windy Chicago on a December afternoon and look at the beautiful green English countryside!
Thanks guys, well done. Relaxing viewing. I run most days on the towpath between Gargrave /Skipton/ Bradley/Kildwick. This and previous videos (Burnley etc) where I've run also just emphasise how lucky I am to have miles ans miles with so much great countryside to view compared to some stretches where disused factories back on to the canal. keep up the good work! Best wisnes for 2022 wherever you may cruise to!
Ah! Beautiful Skipton, gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. This stretch of canal is in my opinion the finest in the country in terms of views. Yorkshire, my home county and where I have lived for 73 years, so I may be a bit biased.
Hi, I enjoyed the vid. we live at Lower Park Marina which you passed at 1:40 so we visit Skipton all the time and love it, fab views in all directions. We can't go far on the boat at the mo because there is a breach in one direction and a lock failure in the other both of which won't be fixed until spring. Some nice pie shops in Skip.
nice to see the chef doing some jobs.u are still a cheerie couple what i wouldnt like to see on vlogs are moving on to another boat im a beleaver in keeping what you got the change would be solar power from deisel and gas ,solar is the way forward i love the viewing
We loved Skipton and wish we could have stayed there longer. There are a couple of places there that do amazing pork pies. I'd never had one! Looking forward to you doing a stretch of the LL I'm pretty familiar with. I wonder if you will find some of the 'upcoming' (since you've actually already done it) swing bridges heavy going - there were a few I really struggled with. And I hated those horizontal paddles!
That's living the dream! , a boat,a beautiful wife, a good dog- what more could you ask for?
Watching your video today was such a calming thing for me to do. Thank you
I’m really enjoying your channel. Your UA-cam videos are the next best thing to being there. Well done & keep them coming
cant beat market day in skipton love it
Up until today I though raising the paddles was always done the same way - amazing the different methods. Nice weather. Cheers 8-)
What a lovely walk ..Beautiful scenery along the way...!..Thank you so much..and Pixel is a love! 😊

Beautiful cruise. Really enjoyed that. Looked lovely even a bit cold one day. Beautiful walk through the town. Thank you .
I think the word for the locks could be challenging! However, the scenery more than makes up for it! Lovely Vlog.

Skipton is one of my favourite places x

Our son travelled to England, about 3 weeks ago, and the company he works for in Keighley, put him up in a hotel in Skipton. We are so envious!
I would not envy him working in Keighley however.

Skipton - one place I've not had the chance to see, yet.

Hi. Great Vlog! What did you do with Pixel when you were touring the castle?
❤️
Ryan you didn’t show us the pub 🍲.
Maybe the maps were upside down 😅😂🤣😂😅😅😂😂🤣😂🤣
Loved this. Which map do you recommend for looking up water points, elsans, fuel, and food for this trip? Thank you.
The Pearson guide to the Leeds and Liverpool is very helpful as it shows all the above as well as supermarkets like Tesco and Aldi .
:)
