Thank you for this video, and helping me and many other see clearly. I work a communications job and want to pursue a career in Tech when I get out, and like you said in the video, the day to day in active duty causes me a lot of stress and dissatisfaction. I've lost and have had unfulfilling friendships with civilians I knew back home because I have generally been in a poor mood. My sister is my main motivation to keep my head down and keep pursuing my degree and certifications
I've learned that as well the hard way. Now I've accepted that I want a life of freedom. Something the military cant give me. So I must leave to achieve this goal and create a new life thats more meaningful.
@@travelingdude1621 I agree to a certain degree. But I'd add that without the FREEDOM to use that money, it doesn't matter. You could have plenty of money but no free time to enjoy it. So you need both. Money and freedom.
Nice to see you again Yoon. It looks like you put on some weight buddy after the Navy. 🤣 Do you miss military life? It would’ve been nice to had stayed in and got a nice military pension plus other benefits. 😃 We all have to decide what is best for ourselves. 👍🏻

@@MrYoonKim I’m doing good buddy. I retired last year but am still young at around your age and have finished travelling all over the world since then. Over the last eight months, I’ve been to the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, South America, Central America, Europe, Africa and Australia plus other places. I’d like to visit Asia again. I apply the military lifestyle to my life as far as the discipline goes, especially in the gym with regular PT. I’m making more dollars these days too. I’m still based in MD doing different things. It's not that anything "seems sus", you're internalizing our conversation, taking it personal, and trying to find ways to discredit someone. You're more than welcome to do that if you want... I wouldn't recommend it though. Just take the feedback, see what you can learn from my life / this situation and build on yours.
@MrYoonKim you seem unable to accept real criticism and your "documented " videos were made by you so you have incentive to make yourself look good. And your replies are always secret insults towards me and you attempt to make yourself look good and are dedensive. I recommend you begin in your young life to be honest with yourself before you embarrass youself and your family. Keep being ambitious as you define it and good luck. I have already achieved many things I wanted and have a fantastic life
