This is so perfect for a boss fight in undertale dude. Really freaking cool. The beginning has an ominous energy and then the end gives you a sense of urgency.
here's a secret to being a humble musician. I know you probably think giving personal opinions to other musicians helps, but it doesn't. It infact causes others to overthink and lose confidence in their craft. Don't be one of these people. not everything things to follow an a - b format and not everything needs to be in equal temperament
@@Thing5888that's *your* opinion that it doesn't help. I am saying this is damn good, especially as just "here's a scrap of something I was working on and don't think i'll do anything else with". This is legitimately really good. It's just unfinished because it's so short. I want them to actually make it a full song. I wasn't trying to imply A/B song structure, just trying to make it longer. the thing about music is, repetition legitimizes, which is why A/B exists, but it's not the only one. you can do ABAC, or ABCD, but the later is really hard. Even musicians who claim to be trying to avoid verse/chorus/verse, still end up doing that, especially with EDM. The key is to not think about it and just keep making music. and that was the core of what I was saying, just keep going, make more of this, this is fucking great.
i personally enjoy reading advice people leave in here. worst case scenario i dont agree + dont use it and best case scenario i learn something new. thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on this. my process is very slow atm, im still learning how to get into the meat of fl studio as a program, but im making progress. ill keep messing with my presets in the meantime and see where this goes.
@ just don't be afraid to touch things and have full confidence in whatever you do. at the end of the day you'll never be as good as your idols if you don't get to a point where you only make music for yourself. You have to just not care.

yeah
Add 1 or 2 more instruments, and bounce between parts, and you've got a song. This is pretty cool. The opening is a bit meh, but then it catches up

@ well it's a good thing that your opinion doesn't mean null to me and the same goes for mine to you. Have a good one
