Granting the President immunity for his/her actions opens the door for someone that has no respect for the law, or the constitution to do whatever they choose. We are presently seeing this exact thing occuring. In my 83 years, I have never seen the safety and security of this nation at such a low point as at present. The agency responsible for our security is under attack by the President and his cohorts, with overreaching personal attacks being made on potentially, the majority of the agents employed by the F.B.I.. This, the Pesident is doing with complete imunity, granted by the Supreme Court ot the United States of America. We have an extremely serious problem that goes far beyond anything imaginable. The president's cohorts, affectively have immunity due to pardon powers of the President. The attacks on the F.B.I. can be undertaken with no one being held responsible for these, otherwise unlawfull, extremely dangerous acts. Not being a legal or constitutional scolar, I have not idea where we go from here. We appear to be in a very bad place. It feels awful, when all I can think of to say is, good luck to us all in the United States and around the world!

Donald Trump should be in jail. He's a deranged lunatic. He ordered an attack on the Capitol on January 6 2021, because he FAILED TO ACCEPT THAT HE LOST AN ELECTION. The people who followed out his criminal orders to violently and unlawfully enter the Capitol building were then arrested and convicted by due legal process. Four years later Trump wins the popular vote and gets re-elected, immediately pardons all the January 6 rioters, and then asks the FBI for a list of the people who worked towards lawfully tracking them down to be arrested. So he commits a crime and now that he is in a position of power, seeks retribution on the people who are legally tasked to by the American Constitution to protect citizens from guys just like him. This sounds a lot like fascism to me. Perhaps America, you should stop him now before it's too late?
