You sleeping on the War album that’s one of Cube’s best albums. What people have to remember that what makes Cube one of the best if not to ever do it is his versatility . There’s not another artist more versatile than Cube. 🐐
Those first 4 albums were all classics, the first 2 are masterpieces, AMW was top notch hip hop, Death Certificate was a conceptional masterpiece. Predator was a tough album, but Lethal Injection is to vicious, Cubes restraint and story telling was crucial. That album was intense and one big ass WTF. What can I do, Bop Gun, When I get to heaven, Lil Azz Gee, and those skits were deep.

I’m so glad that you covered Ice Cube’s life! I was only 12 years old when AMW album dropped! My uncle used to play the hell outta that! One day while we were out of school, my older cousin (age 16) played it & Unc walked thru the door heard it…he beet (intentionally misspelled) all of our azses! 🥴😂😂 I was 14 when DC dropped! I used my Aunt’s ID (who was 19) & bought it 😂😂😂😂 It’s a trip how I had all of Cube’s posters on my bedroom wall, and my daughter had his son’s pic as her phone screensaver! 😄😄😄
U kno I respect ur opinion B-Knockz, but I disagree wit the W&PVol.1. For me being a 90s baby, I remember the release of that. He def had a different flow (I honestly believe Short Khop & Mack 10 helped write) but I feel it was a pretty decent album. “Ghetto Vet” is a classic story rap. “If I was F*cking U”, “Penitentiary”, “X B*tches”, etc are bangers to me. But S/O to u for another fire one tho 💯
Amerikkka’s Most Wanted and Death Certificate is hands down Cube’s greatest body of work absolute masterpieces classic albums I grew up off these albums and still have them in rotation to this very day
