I really do appreciate you explaining all the ingredients! I didn't realise how beneficial some of them were for the hair! xx
Thank you! I love this feedback! Glad this helped!
This looks great! I'll have to review the full ingredient lists in more depth, as well as price point 🙃 would love to see a video where you talk about goals/benefits of pre-poo, and possibly ingredient choices based on porosity and fine vs course hair! I have fine low porosity hair, so I've always been afraid a prepoo would seal too well and prevent conditioner penetration with the actual hydration(water) that I need to get in those strands! Plus I'm easily weighed down :p Thanks for the fun video and shining light on products we havent seen before but with some great potential!
I think I made a video about this years ago. But I could definitely do an updated one if that would be helpful. 🤗
It turned out so good, Courtney! This is the curliest I've seen your hair yet. I'm gonna look into these products. Thanks for sharing 😊
Awe, thank you! And let me know if you do!
Your hair looks so amazing!!!!
You are so kind!!
Wow great results. I love the way your hair looks with these products.👍🥰
Awe, thank you! I did too! Very fun!
Wow! Beautiful results! I'm intrigued
Thank you so much! Let me know if you try it.
Your hair looks amazing and I love these one brand washdays!!
Thank you so much! And thank you for the feedback! It helps me so much!
Wow! I'm very intrigued. May have to give this line a try.
Let me know if you do!
Girlie, you are one of my favorites!!! Aaaaa-dorable!❤️
Thank you!
I purchased immediately after watching this and they already arrived yesterday! Excited to wash today!
Let me know how it goes!
Yooooooo babe, you're is always gorgeous but this is next level. There were so many spirals in the back. Definitely checking these out. As always you're amazing and beautiful in every way. Love to you, sis. ❤️
Awe, thank you!
Thanks for the honesty about the ingredients. I know silicones are beneficial for some people but my hair gets really dry if I use them with any regularity. I'm mostly medium texture with a couple of small areas that are a little more coarse in texture and I'm high porosity. I think silicones keep the moisture I desperately need from getting into the hair shaft. I also avoid drying alcohols in my styling products, except for a light shot of regular hairspray at the very end of styling to help keep my hair out of my face. Your hair turned out amazing. Do you think you'll be using these products regularly?
This is a great wash day!! Definitely one of my favorites on you 😍. I had to realize that sometimes a non CG ingredient isn’t a bad thing. I am certain the shampoo has the extra surfactants to take care of the non CG ingredients. I will definitely be checking these products out!!
Thank you so much! And yes on the non CG ingredients, I know it can be a transition in mindset too! But thats an interesting thought on the surfectants!
Love love your hair!!!! Beautiful!!
You are so sweet! 🥰
beautiful results
Thank you!
Wow! Looks great!
Thank you!!!
Your hair really does look curlier! For people who don’t have a large product stash, would this be a good product line for every wash day, or would you recommend alternating other products?
I do love this line!!! I would recommend it!
Another great video. They are always yo helpful!! You mentioned on a video in the past (I have no idea which one 😅) about creating a slippage scale so that you could rate the products. Beyond that I would love for you to make this scale and then just rate tons of the products you use on it. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I could use some help finding products based of slippage 😂-- thank you!!
Ohhh thank you for the suggestion!
I would be interested in seeing a long term review after using these products for several wash days. There have been times I have veered from "no silicones" (sulfates don't seem to be an issue for me) with good results for a short time. After a few wash days I could tell it wasn't going to work out long term.
I got these products for Christmas and wasn't sure what to do with them. Thanks for the help with the gel When I first used it I had blue chunks in my hair!
Glad I could help!
I think that is the curliest I have ever seen your hair. I don't really gravitate to hard hold gels but that line looks and sounds awesome! I agree with you about wavy hair. My hair is a combo of kinda curly in the front and pretty wavy in the back. Sometimes I like my hair more wavy. I can also brush out my hair and have it look good enough to wear out. Thank Courtney.
Ah I love this!!! And that is the nice thing about being a wavy/curly. So many options on how to wear it! And thank you! 🥰🥰
Can you do this same video but using less gel and maybe another time just using just the serum or no hairspray?
Wow! Your hair clearly loved these products.
Thank you so much! I think they did!
This has been my favorite curl on your hair in a while. I will have to seriously look into this product. I'm a curlsmith only girl but this might change my mind.
Thanks!!! I loved it as well! Let me know how it goes for you.
@@tuttyfat I have and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I usually like wash days less that day. Maybe I need to let it sit for 15 minutes instead of 30.
Thanks for your videos Courtney! Question: I saw somebody recommending to put deep conditioning treatment right after shampoo since the cuticle is open and it can act better, then after that conditioner (cause this closes the cuticle), do you think this makes sense? Thanks
Yep! That is what I do... I do a clarifying shampoo and then a deep conditioner but I don't use my other conditioner. Just a leave-in if needed!
Looks awesome! How long before washing do you apply oil to your ends? Also where do I find and how much are these products?
Hey Sara! Thank you so much! But I did the pre-poo the night before washing. I used CurlSmith Bonding oil. Here is the link to if needed: amzn.to/3Vko94p
Please make a video about the pre-shampoo oil and why it’s a game changer!
More info. on it's way! 🤗 But I did the pre-poo the night before washing. I used CurlSmith Bonding oil. Here is the link to if needed: amzn.to/3Vko94p
@@SwavyCurlyCourtney Thank you!
Love it!!!
Thank you! 🥰
I have 2A-2C/2B-3A caorse thick oily itchy scalp dry end medium-high prosity and very frizzy.
I have been wanting to try their aubonacci styler but the price tag has been holding me back. I have asked for it for Christmas. I am intrigued with there haircare products. I have been struggling to find something I really like. I just might need to give it a try. Hopey, it isn't too expensive
I get this!!! For me, it worked well! Let me know how it goes!
How did your hair feel on day 2? It looked like it would have felt very producty. I would love to use you try this again adjusting the amounts of the serum and gel.
It did feel a bit grittier than on washday. But not too producty. When I use a mousse my hair feels almost gunky. My hair felt pretty good! Just a bit of texture. I hope that makes sense!
@@SwavyCurlyCourtney that sounds like it's worth a try. I don't know if you have used the NYM Curl Talk Strong Hold Gel, but it made my hair feel awful!
I have a fun one for you to try. I recently had major cervical spine (neck) surgery going in through the back (posterior). I was caught by surprise. I'm supposed to do T Rex arms for 60 day. I have one arm I can't move due to pain but my other arm I can do a bit more than T Rex. I have figured out how to cleanse, condish, and apply products all with one hand and while sitting in the shower, because it's actually easier than doing it outside of the shower and dealing with my hair drying and having to spritz it. The only thing my husband has to help me with is the diffusing and of course, after washing and all that with my head flipped a wee bit in the shower, the diffusing is head up. It's not exactly been the best of experiences, but I have discovered that my hair turns out better than being diffused upside down. 🙃 I have been thinking it would be fun to see what creative ideas you would come up with if you were in my situation. Air drying is not my thing. I'd be messing with it constantly and destroy my curl pattern. Also, they had to shave an inch along the base of my hair, which are my juiciest curls! 😱 Any tips on the best way to grow that out? Also...your hair I amazing with these products! Definitely the mermaid!
What oil do you use for your pre poo treatment?
I used CurlSmith Bonding oil. Here is the link to if needed: amzn.to/3Vko94p
I applied it the night before.
@@SwavyCurlyCourtney Thank you!
Amazing.
Thank you! Thank you 🙏🏻
That hair ain’t wavy! It’s CURLY!😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Don't appreciate you explaining what's in the products I clicked on this video for the curling iron review
Wow, move along then, grumpy. 😅
