Hi Vera! My favorite vlogs are when you have these little 'talks" with us and share information on topics that are meaningful to our lives. I've commented previously that I feel you have a natural calling to share thoughtful insight to help and inspire others. I gained information on lymphatic draining that I didn't know. And the information on boundaries really struck home to me. You are truly gifted to speak of these topics in a way that resonates and captivates those who are watching. I can picture you in a room with a large captive audience some day. Never give up on your dreams!

Setting boundaries is so important. People need to leave you alone when you choose not to drink. You mentioned reading books and listening to podcasts. I'd love a video on products/books you are using to help with self-care and self-improvement. I know I personally struggle with self-reflection and being too hard on myself. Everyone says I am. It is hard to find a balance!
Vera-- I've really been enjoying your channel! What's so unique about it is that though you are a flight attendant, your channel is less about being a flight attendant and more about the joie de vivre. You feature certain products and brands, but it's more about how those products fit into your life and how you take pleasure in them than about the products themselves. Really affirming for me! Keep it up!

Yes, I love your inspirational chats! Please keep doing them. Talking about boundaries, when I started having boundaries with some of my immediate family members who are all adults and we live together, I was called “mean” and “heartless.” I clarified to them that I was tired of everything that was going on and that I didn’t need to participate in all that with them. This basically left them in a lurch with bills as I was planning to leave the house, as I pay for everything for the house. They mostly got on board, but there are a few lingering hiccups that can somewhat tolerate.
At 14:23, you said that the key to self confidence is keeping promises to yourself. I listened to a podcast last year and the guy said the exact same thing! You're really on the right track in every possible way!

Hello Vera!!! Again a beautiful song in the beginning, middle and in the end. Makes difference. You look so bright right now... changes are happening, no doubt about it. People working on airplanes need to care so much about health. Changing pressure and humidity are your enemies always on the air. I know you have a very good advices about daily issues related to your job. I'm listening your vlog for a second time because the talk about the boundaries is very interesting for me. I don't drink alcohol for about 10 years and many times I feel the same pressure for it. Friends came to me telling me that I should try again but I always answer the same: I already drink all the alcohol for this life. I don't like to abuse my luck!!!. No jokes, I liked when you said that you prioritize the others over you if you drink. People have to learn that theirs rights finish where start yours. Deeper talks are great and very happy that you consider it for the upcoming vlogs from time to time. I have sometimes the feeling that some things mean to happen somehow and of course that situation makes me crazy. Last but not least, your face reflect a nice mood.... and I'm very happy for you, believe me. Hope you have a wonderful day and see you next time!!! Bye.

Looking at that dentist's office reminded me of my visit a month ago when I had to have a cap on a crack tooth I had. When he used the drill, even though it did not hurt me, the sound of it terrified me. I listen to music from my Bluetooth on my iPhone to calm me down. I am more scared of going to the dentist than the doctor. The person who tried to force you to drink is not a friend, but someone you know. The best part of your video was the few seconds of the donut shop. I can eat donuts every day. Happy 4th of July!!!!
Boundaries are key. I was late to the party when I came to setting boundaries. In my teens and twenties I was criticized for not liking parties. I hate large social gatherings and having chronic pain makes me hate them more.
Now I am in my forties and COVID-19 so people have inviting parties.
Vera, I love when you do the SF vlogs but really, I love all your vlogs!! But you're in my neighborhood and walking to the very same places that I frequent! And yes, I know the hills! I love to walk them and yes, a great cardio and leg toner, so happy you took advantage of the hills and don't worry, time and more trips here will make you a native!👏👏👍👍
It's so good that you didn't get pressured into drinking!! I'm glad I am not the only one who feels bad! I don't drink at all due to bad experiences in the past and I feel like such a square when I'm with others when they're drinking! I usually avoid it because I don't want to feel like a loser not drinking haha
Thankfully I’m at a place where I just don’t care what others think about me not drinking when o go out. Its a very freeing feeling lol

Love this vlog! One of my yoga philosophy teachers always talked about how if you have boundaries then your potential/freedom is limitless. You need that boundary to to be a strong and grounding starting point then everything else from there is possible. It’s a little bit of a paradox to say when you have boundaries you have no limits, but it’s always made sense to me. And I’ll try to keep that serendipitous attitude today even though I don’t wanna. My flight home from my weekend away is already 3hrs delayed but maybe it means something unexpectedly good will happen. :)

On the topic of synchronicities… I think about that all of the time. Funny enough I met my husband the night I decided to take the back roads home after work, but stopped to get gas on the way… AND only after I entered the numbers wrong on the keypad I ended up having to go into the building which made me so annoyed! 😂😂😂 But I would have never met him otherwise…you just never know…

Great video as usual. I didn’t drink throughout my 20s and I got those stupid comments on layovers every time. I think for some of those people, they are insecure and want confirmation that what they’re doing is right and someone who isn’t going along with the crowd makes them feel bad about themselves. I quit drinking again last year (in my 50s) as it’s so destructive for health. I can’t even stand to be around people who are drinking anymore…makes everyone dumb….literally dumb…and life is too short to be in a state of dumbness all the time. 😁
Hmm interesting perspective. I still like to drink I’m just very particular about when where and who with!
100 about how dumb people are when they drink. That’s one reason why I hate parties. I am in my 40s and get criticized for not liking parties.

They are so informative... and your personality is like the icing on the cake (soothing intellectuality). This particular vlog was super interesting "Lymphatic draining". Question for you: Which is the right brush to use for "dry brushing"? Also, in reference to having 'boundaries'... that's super important! You teach people how to treat you, and by respecting your 'own' self first, you teach them to do the same. BTW, peer pressure never affected me, not even as a teenager. I always stood my ground... P.S. Loved your choice of song for this vlog! 🥰

I knew the walks could be brutal in SF depending on where you went. I do enjoy SF. It really is unfortunate you do have to set any sort of boundary that early.
The walks are killer but the hardest ones have the best views! Yeah it’s hard but also makes sense setting boundaries early so people know where you stand from the beginning.

Hi. I have only seen the hills there, always wondered about walking up them lol. I'm in RI and we are going to FL,, I have medical conditions and even embarrassed. By cane, first time I'm plane, I have to wear support pantyhose for men with fly, I'm worried screeners, stewardess ect... Will laugh?. Girlfriend says
