Been to the UK for a very short time, in Aberdeen there are designated cycle lanes on the two sides of a road, surprised that there was none in this video. Very inconvenient when cyclists slow you down. I understand why cyclists prefer to ride on road than on pedestrian. It's much more dangerous to ride on pedestrian pave. On road, when drivers see cyclists, drivers will have to slow down (with some hostility maybe). In Hong Kong it's even illegal to ride on pedestrian pavement (and to be fair, it's also illegal to walk on cycle lanes) and police does enforce such regulations. Edit: oh, there are some cycle lanes in the later part of the video.
Wetherby itself isn’t a particularly large town. As the bus travels through Linton (tiny narrow roads) and into Collingham before it turns right up to Harewood Road, there isn’t much space or use of bicycle lanes. Until you get to Redhall (large roundabout) you don’t necessitate the use of them.
I think the livery looks very smart.
Well done picking up that chap.
