I did see a video a few days ago where someone made an R/C vehicle using 2 outrunners and the radio looked like that one lol. Now the language barrier can be tough and I do see a lot of people in the hobby that still says remote control which is odd. There's also a lot of people that says Kv is kilovolts (kV capital V for kilovolts) instead of RPM per volts (Kv capital K). How about those who says fast when a vehicle goes 6 seconds on the 1/4 mile instead of quick. So if I think like they do 6 sec. is fast and 200MPH is quick rofl. John, make a radio like that but use a aircraft stick which will still provide full steering at full throttle. Another nice video.
6 second quarter mile isn't fast!?!?! (Jk jk) you know someone will probably say it and wholeheartedly believe it. But not everybody gets tricked by the ol quick vs. Fast Do you mean Tom Bailey, or Steve Morris, maybe Jeff Lutz......? At least that's the main couple of 6 second quarter guys. Or you have Bret Lasala"s green radial mustang, or Cletus with mullet
@@ryurc3033 There are a bunch of them out there and I usually just laugh about it. Now I forgot to mention one thing regarding the language barrier since English is my second language and in Portuguese we say Controle Remoto which directly translates to Remote Control. Radio Control in Portuguese would not make sense at all.
@@ryurc3033 Want to laugh, some youtuber called Mark Santa Maria posted a video titled "THEY HAVE 5 DIFFERENT RC CAR TRACKS AT ONE LOCATION!" didn't want to plug it in here but look at the 1:12 mark. rofl
FHSS means Frequency Hopping Spread Spektrum, basically it's using a radio chip made in the past 20 years lol. People into quadcopters actually used Wii nunchucks with Arduino's years ago including motion control. They could be good for people with one arm or at least one arm free. I kinda want to make one except with ELRS and a better steering gimbal and throttle on a trigger maybe with a button/switch to use the throttle trigger for reverse.
I never do that 😂😂 especially last week when horizon started their sale on the Losi Hammer Rey…😂 can’t wait to get it out in some dirt and sand!! Do you have one? Just wondering if you do and what you think
@@meirdeaph cool, I like the way it looks so I’m not planning on doing that, depending on how it drives after a while I might even try putting some lead weights in it to have extra weight on the rear end to see how it reacts.
The joystick version is a lot better it has a normal throttle and is perfect for trailing and even technical liñes while enjoying a adult beverage. It also makes that awesome power up sound
There are definitely not enough one handed driving options on the market. And even less ambidextrous options.
We didn't go outside...
we will!
On the running video you better have an adult beverage in your hand lol.
It has to be authentic testing!
Can't wait to see the review after you run it.

Hotrc has some pretty crazy controllers

I really wish there were more 'professional', advanced one handed operation remote options. Like you said, more modern system with better gimbals etc.
I subscribed for the shirts.
I have the one similar to a joystick and its my favorite for sure. Great design, the quality is pretty good. I take it everywhere.
Totally agree!
Atari mode activated, what button fires the rockets 🚀 🤔
pretty sure it's z button
Cool end message
this radio seems awesome!
It is!
Seems like it's pretty similar to the HOTRC DS-600 but without the LCD screen

That was painful
Sometimes those instructions are worth buying the thing just to laugh at😄
I love some good "Chinglish" instructions. Fun reads!
Can’t wait to see how it works 🎉
Oh man. I could watch you channel my drunk uncle ALL DAY. But you should have said “cash me ousiide “ lol.

I get it John. It's the simple things in life...
Is that the same one Josh tried to use a while back?
Convert one of those Super Mario Kart RC’s and add this remote 😂
that would be cool!
I’m liking the remote for my kid! He already broke two

Aircraft radio and neck strap your done.
My buddy has one that's like a fighter jet joy stick. It's pretty slick
Cool!
Right 😉
Old mate is on the terps
😅❤awesome
Maybe they took your ideas and "ran" with it themselves under a new name.
Maybe so! This saves me from having to do it again, I was really hankering for something like this recently
These are used more for bait boats
Sounds like the perfect use for it too
What happened outside my boy
