Shell-Walker Adapts & Improvises - Horizon Forbidden West

The Shell-Walker is a transportation machine that moves salvaged materials to the cauldrons for reuse in making new machines. It will fight to the death to defend its cargo but Aloy can cripple its ranged attack ability by forcing the Shell-Walker to adapt to the loss of the clamp securing its cargo.

They really put a lot of thought into the machines and how they behave. Especially in Zero Dawn, get in a spot where you can watch the snapmaws at work. The pouches on their back will fill as they clean the water. When full, they eject the pouches so they can be recovered by transport machines. The scroungers and glinthawks are also fun machines to watch as they cut up destroyed machines for recycling.

When I first saw one of these picking up the container again, literally sacrificing their weapon-arm for it, I was like: "Bro, f that container and fight for your life!" 😂

Bro i still feel guilty about killing OLIN in Zero Dawn and then you show me this cute side of Shell-Walker. How am i supposed to look at them the same and why does this look different? Change in the Field of View or Someting?

They really threw us a twist with Olin. Here is something else to think about... once you get through Zero Dawn Gaia has these machines out there cleansing Earth and improving the environment. They're doing what Gaia wants them to do. And you're out there killing them just so you can get a bit of wire to make your sling throw a bigger bomb? Okay, okay -- the cauldrons can pump out more so not too much of a worry but still...what does Gaia think about that?

What outfit is she wearing?

The appearance is the Oseram Explorer with the ash & coal dye. The actual outfit is the Utaru Winterweave which I used to minimize the chance the shell-walker would react to Aloy's presence (go into attack mode instead of retrieving the container).
