Took mine out this morning. Put a couple drops of 3 in 1 oil on the motor shaft and put it back in. Works like new. Not sure how long it'll last, but we'll see. Have a new motor ordered, but it's working until the new one comes in.
Did you just change out that black piece? The one where you showed two different serial numbers?
I think that is just the serial # for just the fan motor...in other words the fan motor has its own serial number
