The easiest way I’ve found to farm mangrove is to have a platform in the air with a hole in the middle. You put the propogule where the hole is and bone meal it. If you jump through the hole in the platform onto the new tree and start going down it should be the main trunk of the tree. While going down break the leaves going the four directions since the branches tend to grow in weird patterns in the four main directions off this main log. Hope that helps a bit
This is an interesting way to go about it! I've really been trying to figure out a new way of doing it that might be easier.
I like builders who build on hills. In real life people rarely terraform that much, to the point of removing entire hill. They adapt to what they have. So it looks much more organic and natural in minecraft.

2:25 i'm unsure if they actually picked a seed? i don't think they did, but i could be entirely wrong with that- they have mentioned that they won't be sharing the seed until the end of the season when the world download gets released! they don't want people going onto the world, finding things and then telling them where they are and what's in certain places and spoiling the world for them all, they want to explore and find where things are themselves- or something along those lines was mentioned. it might have been in a Solidarity (Jimmy) stream or in a video somewhere, I'm not sure! but yeah, they did get very lucky with world generation! including things under the world, as Jimmy found...

Fwhip usually have links of his texture pack written on the description of his video. If you can't see it there, you can review that video of gem since she shown all the packs and add-ons they have for the series.

25:17 + 27:25 honestly, now might be one of the best times for you to catch up on uploads/react to new people for empires! jimmy, scott, lizzie, joel, sausage and gem away away in america for fwhip's wedding and shubble's on a trip to england- this is only 8 of the 13-12 players, and they do have prerecorded episodes and i believe shubble's still able to record from in england (she mentioned that she'll at least still be streaming on her stream on twitch the other day), but it does mean that uploads from many empires members will be slower! to circle back around the the point, now may be a great chance to catch up on empires episodes, and watching fwhip and shubble (someone in the comments mentioned) would also be so cool! and katherine! and solidarity/jimmy. and scott. and gotta stop there or i'll end up listing everyone :D
honestly, i could probably write several pargraphs of different reasons you should watch everyone's empires, and what sort of character they're going with and why they're interesting to watch-
