300 ml milk (room temperature)
170 grams sugar
70 ml cooking oil that has been heated
240 grams all-purpose flour
30 grams cocoa powder
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
250 ml milk
1 teaspoon Agar-Agar powder
250 grams dark chocolate
8 grams butter
mold size 18x18x7 cm

Has anyone tried making this? I've tried it twice but they don't look like that in the video. The cake texture feels like chocolate fudge (or a bit like 'kueh' texture). I tapped my cake pan a few times before steaming it but still got air bubbles inside. My cakes after steamed looked very uneven. The first time making it, I really pressed the top to make it even but the cake ended up a bit hard/firm & chewy! The cake can taste quite sweet even though I used dark chocolate bits for the topping as instructed. 170g sugar for the cake as instructed. Really nothing like the one in the video, I give up!
