Everyone has adored Jennifer Aniston who played the role of Rachel Green since the first looks at the popular television show “Friends”. However, not many people know that she has been secretly struggling with a tragic story all these years. In particular, she had bad relations with her wicked mother who used to humiliate her all the time during her childhood. The wounds go very deep, that she erased her own mother from her life for 15 years. And then there are the burning questions that everybody seems to be having.
Good Lord! I tried having children and I couldn’t. All the IVF were unsuccessful. And to this day, I’m asked “why didn’t you have kids”. “Why didn’t you adopt?”. Ya know why? My husband left me because he wanted his own kids. And I did have confidence in adopting a kid and raise it by myself….it never ends…never. I’m 71 and when people say your kids will help you, and find out I don’t have kids….it starts all over again. Today I can handle it, but for years it was just awful…..And who says “your kids will take care of you?” Really? Many kids do, but many don’t . And I think it’s unfair to place that burden on them.
I say that we can't know another person's story on any life situation. If a man were to be questioned on the subject of no kids, he'd turn and walk off before letting anyone lecture that he's selfish, will be sorry, etc.

Things do not always turn out the way we expect them to do. We can not turn back the clock so we have got to do with what we have.
More kids, more karma. If you want off the cycle of life, death, and rebirth on earth like I do it might've worked out in your favor.
The biggest reason I didn't have kids was that I spent most of my adult years, until I was 48 years old looking after my parents while my 8 brothers and sisters were off living their lives. My mom especially was possesive, more so after my father died. She ruined several possible relationships. (Note to others, if you are "dating" some one and live with a possessive mother, don't put their numbers on speed dial!"). I just roll my eyes now if anyone in my family ask why I never got married or had kids of my own.
Weeks ago I was watching an interview with Lisa Kudrow ,where she said her son was in love with Jennifer Aniston when he was a baby,she said Jen is pure love and we have seen through the years she is a tender soul,the fact that she is so successful makes me happy,she deserves all she has,she worked hard for it,she still a sweetheart and we love her !

It's a shame that people make it their business asking "when are you going to have children. There are people that would love to have children
but can't and it's a hurtful question when asked to some. Also, there are individuals that are not ready to become parents. Honestly, it's none of anybody's business. I never thought it was any of my business to ask such a personal question.
Thank you for saying this…I was very hesitant about having kids and then when the time came…I wasn’t old by any means but fibroids complicated things and with a bunch of miscarriages I accepted that maybe my destiny was supposed to be different…so I appreciate this sentiment.
I think it is Not polite to ask a woman when she’ll has children. One of my older relative questioned me all the time . She knew, that we had problems, but I think she enjoyed the drama and never left us alone. It was hard to endure. After five years we had a child, but I think this question is better left out. Some people have zero boundaries, and that's why that happens. I would never say something like that to anyone, because you never know what people are going through. My aunt used to get asked that a lot and it was horrible because she did want a child but was struck with Cancer twice. Then her husband, my uncle, passed away in an accident. People need to mind their business for sure.

A lot of 1950s/60s era moms had issues. I think they had a tremendous amount of pressure on them to be perfect. They often had narcissistic tendencies concerning their children...being extra critical...viewing them as an extension of themselves.

Sweetie read between the lines, it's obvious that Brad Pitt is still in love with Angelina Jolie and he has been a good father to the children and he made a mistake by drinking on the plane and it's obvious that there was issues before everything came to a head, but a wife should forgive her husband especially if it's a mistake that can be forgiven other than adultery. Honestly, they both admitted that it was a mistake and Brad went to get himself treated for alcoholism. He was trying, and he still trying, and he didn't go around saying things that were dishonest about her, because things escalated to the point where she became resentful and better against Brad and kept his children away from him, even according to what the court stated was a fact which wasn't fair to Brad, but Brad still kept being a good father to his children and even she admitted that, so since he didn't cheat on her an adultery, don't you think that it would have been more fair to try to not be so selfish and to let him make up for his mistake?! Honestly I've been in a situation worse than this where I had a husband who cheated on me and had a child with another woman at the exact same time I was in the hospital giving birth to his daughter! Try that one on for size and I forgave him and we got back together, but he and the other woman were secretly seeing each other behind my back, and I found out about it and I broached him on it and he beat me up and put me through a wall then he shot holes in the ceiling with a shotgun and got arrested and was sent to rehab for drug addiction and alcohol addiction and he rolled the car over with our daughter in it, and CPS was going to take our daughter unless I separated and got a divorce from him because he refused and told them that he was going to keep drinking and CPS said that if I didn't accept a separation at least, they would take our daughter to protect her from him because he refused to get help too many times even though I forgave him I finally had to give in for my daughters protection and her life! So I'm not against Angelina Jolie, but from what everything has come out in the wash I'm thinking that she's been a little too resentful and better and unforgiving to Brad and yes he made a mistake but he was willing to make up for it where my husband wasn't willing to do anything to make the marriage work, Brad Pitt was willing to go to rehab and to work things out with Angelina and the kids, so he at least should have been forgiven and given a chance to make things right which was not done and that says a lot for him that he tried his best and he didn't go around saying anything that wasn't true while Angelina did things behind his back that yes those things came out in public and you know how hard it is to keep your private life out of the public now, I'm pretty sure that Brad didn't want that to come out even though it did happen, and Angelina needs to be a bit more accommodating and not so bitter by keeping the kids away from him, and even selling their Vineyard to Russians behind his back, and was that fair? I don't think so! And again who really knows what the truth is it could even just be publicity, but it is dirty laundry being publicized for whatever reason and should not be happening! If the media would refuse to publish stuff like this that is personal lives issues, and then marriages would have more of a chance of being a success instead of the interference of the media turning more marriages into divorce and ruining people's lives! Privacy is really important to everyone but it's not respected at all anymore, same as freedom of speech and more often than not too many people are willing to sell out the other person just to make money or to get their own way and that's not right either, so each of us should stop and think before we open our mouths or what we do to harm another individual because the results can be totally catastrophic and we may not turn them around or fix them when that happens.

Agree! I was taught only to keep steadily working to stay independent, and I did. My hardworking parents never pressed me to give them grandchildren, which absolutely suited me.
Yeah I had 3 and cant imagine life without them. Actually I dont even like imagining life without them. People without kids always seem extremely selfish and self-centered. I cant keep em as friends. Theyve turned out to be horrible people in my life. I guess when all you are concerned about from day-to-day is yourself, no one comes first but you. Its kind of weird to me honestly to only care for the needs of yourself. Makes people selfish.

I read or heard an interview where she stated that she was not able to have kids. But the media portrays her as being a selfish woman that’s only concerned with her career. She’s worth $300 mil. I don’t think focusing on her career is an issue now. She has also said publicly that she is tired of the media portraying her as a victim and hates people feeling sorry for her. She’s fine. There were rumors before she and Brad split up that she was having an affair with Matt LeBlanc. So the divorce might not have been all Brads fault. They’re celebrities. A lot of what is said and heard is to keep their name relevant.

But it does saddens me, and makes me look at her differently, that she didn’t speak to her mother for 15 years. And then to hear that when she finally did make up with her, that’s when her mother died. I hope some younger generation learns from this. You only have one mother, and hearing the other side of the story that her mother was not any of the things that she accused her of being which is really an eye-opener. That’s a lesson and not judging a book by the cover. That had to be devastating for her mother to wait 15 years waiting for her to talk to her. Just my side and I’m sure I’m not alone

I think Brad is the common denominator. He was a drunk and pothead. He messed up his marriage to Anniston, then fell for Jolie and did not get off the sauce. Love his movies, but when he did the domestic photo spread with Jolie anyone could see he was a total jerk. And his kids don't spend much time with him. A lot of women have issues with their mother and if she didn’t want kids, so what? A lot of people have had terrible family issues. What most people DON’T have is a public microscope focused on them 24/7. I’m not much of a fan but I don’t think the public is entitled to knowing everything there is to know about celebrities.

I had 7 children and it is the greatest, most all encompassing decision for me and my husband. Not all women are told the truth about their biology. Diary of a CEO had an excellent podcast about women and fertility. It is sad but true that women have to have it figured out while in their 20's because once they get to their 30's it becomes harder and harder to have a biological family. Men on the other hand, can choose to do their career and start their families in their 50's if they wanted. I know women who had children very young and regretted it and I know one woman who had no children and regretted it in her 50's.
Women can and do have children in their 20s and 30s and then have a fruitful career for decades after.

It's not surprising that Jennifer Aniston confessed something that many people doubted. People often have their own opinions and she simply expressed her personal opinion, which is not always the whole truth.

What did we all expect? I read the tagline, but I didn't suspect that stuff because it's old news. Put aside that Jennifer is an actress, and remember, she is a human being with all the scars and skeletons and send her blessings just the way you would hope people would do for you.
