My cousin is in Scientology and is banned from seeing family and when her dad died she came to get her share of his money which wasn’t hers as his wife was still alive. I also will not watch a Tom cruise movie he’s a creep
Yeah, Ive heard of things like that with Scientology. Its strange to see an organization pull manipulitve stunts like that. Now, an abusive man or abusive spouse or sometimes an abusive parent, will forbid their victim from seeing anybody. Its so much easier for the abuser to abuse, vent on and control their victim, when that victim is isolated. Shame on Ron L. Hubbard for pulling that stunt...inventing a religion. Which is just a cult. Very dangerous cult from what I hear.
I am a Labor &Delivery RN I was disgusted by his ignorant rant about post partum depression and have a deep disregard for him and the damage he caused numerous women. I think his plastic surgery makes him look like Dennis Quaid.
Celebrities who vehemently hate Tom Cruise? How about ordinary people who vehemently hate Tom Cruise? The same goes for literally dozens of celebrities.
This video is unfortunately missing the most scathing remark ever made about Tom Cruise, which is when Christian Bale said that he partly modeled his portrayal of Patrick Bateman in _American Psycho_ on Tom Cruise interviews he had watched.
After watching the video, I got this idea that Cruise is not only a screen actor, he also spends much of his private life acting a part. It's like he has carefully crafted a persona (affable, charming, etc.) that he employs when he is interacting with fans, journalists, fellow cultists, etc.. He might even have multiple personality constructs: one for home, one for church...etc. And because it is only a facade, he gets easily thrown off his game if someone breaks away from the script in his head. Since he can't ad lib very well, he gets flustered and malfunctions. Maybe that is why he tries so hard to regiment and structure his life, so that there are few surprises and he knows what his performance needs to be at any given time. It is all a giant coping mechanism. I would not automatically think that this means he is a psychopath; there could be myriad reasons, such as compensating for debilitating anxiety, an overly introverted personality, generalized insecurity....who knows? I actually feel sorta sorry for the guy - I have always thought something about him seems just 'off'. Poor little brainwashed Bateman Boy! XD So is he such an expert professional actor because he has been honing the craft his whole life? Is that why he only plays one 'type' in his movies, because he already has too many roles to play every single day? Disclaimer: I actually know very little about Tim Cruise, so this is all probably complete hogwash.
@@BoxofPeaceHe plays his psrts in life like a narrsasitic sociopath. Your right about his getting flustered. I've seen him get an evil look in his eyes when he's challenged with questions he doesn't have an answer for. Bet he went home and wrote a scripted answer if it came up again.
He unsettles me. I can't read him. He's exactly the same in every interview I see him in, which is incredibly fake and rather glib. There's not an ounce of sincerity in that man. I think he's kind of a sociopath.
@@terencejay8845-- Oh really? I did not know he said that. What a jerk. I remember when his scientology book came out. Ads for it all over T.V. for awhile. How is a paragraph or two going to help anybody fix the complexity's of their life. smh. Not that easy.
@@bevalee1533 It's bizarre how it has garnered such wealth and following. He made the entire thing up, total Science Fiction, yet it's drawn people in who believe it.
I remember an interview with Christian Bale after he shot American Psycho. He said that at first, he turned down the role because he didn't know how a psychopath behaved. He later called the director and said that he would do the film. When asked why he changed his mind, he replied, "I met Tom Cruise."
In the '70s, I got involved in Scientology. They told me I had to stop taking psych meds, and when I did, my bipolar disorder took over. They decided I was too crazy to be in Scientology. It was a blessing in disguise; at first, I was angry, but I quickly became glad they booted me!

I live in Clearwater I’ve seen what that church dose personally it should be charged with many crimes including murder for not allowing its members medical care when it’s a matter of life and death!!!
I was born in Clearwater and lived in PInellas County most of my life. You are absolutely right. The fact that they would march down the streets of downtown Clearwater in uniform and weren't allowed to speak OR EVEN LOOK at anyone; all staring straight forward with zero emotion or thought was so chilling. I read recently how they sneakily continued to buy up downtown Clearwater and now own a vast majority -makes me so mad.
I was introduced to Scientology in Sacramento, CA at the age of 15 through my mother who was a new member. I had taken some of my moms prescribed Valium as a desperate attempt to get my 1st boyfriends attention along with my moms. .She was told by Scientology to bring me there, where they promised they would, “straighten me out”. When the day came, the first thing they did after the paperwork was complete, was to have me sit in the middle of about 50 adults in a circle, while they started calling out my imperfections. Anywhere from what I was wearing to the color of my hair, blond. They said how dumb blonds were and that I was no exception. I wasn’t allowed to speak back. It was described as a way to break me down, so they could build me back up in the likeliness of a member of Scientology. It was terrifying. I just remember that I started crying and shaking as the “exercise” continued. My mother was not allowed to be in the room and when I got out, she was horrified at what she saw. I was sweating profusely, my face bright red with tears streaming down my face. She never made me go back and denounced the church herself.
That sounds like a very traumatic experience. I am so sorry you went through that. I know about trauma myself since I was a baby in the crib, but that’s another story. You had a mother you were older than a baby. What she did was very irresponsible. Why didn’t she investigate this before she let you go there. I’m sure she has remorse for this hopefully.I will pray for you. I hope you have turned to the true God in Jesus name HE binds up our wounds and heals the brokenhearted. Never had a bad thought about you or me. God bless you.
Yeah, she was so smart she married a scientologist without realizing what that meant and had to escape. Call me weird, but not getting sucked into a cult seems smarter than figuring out how to escape one.
Yeah, but she happened to marry him when everyone was already aware of Scientology’s strong controversies and Cruise’s awkward involvement with that church or cult. Why did it take her so long to question his commitments to Scientology? Nicole Kidman was married to Cruise for almost a decade!
I'm Australian, and after he was rude to a reporter who asked him some, very close to home questions, he didn't like and left the interview, then tried to twist the narrative, which the reporter didn't bite to, then he was claiming he was going to go Legal against the reporter and the show, claiming they were giving a bias review about him, it's amazing when your hit with actual factual events, then how he treated Nicole, it was shameful and disrespectful act towards her, that was a long time ago, only it literally changed the entire vibe about him down here, it was also an eye opener, on his cult church, which also didn't do him any favors, with a lot of people down here, it lost respect for him as a husband, father and Man, and still stands to this day. And unfortunately, whoever he goes to for his plastic surgery, isn't doing him any favors, his look is truly showing a side of him that truly matches his personality, weird.
Yeah, Peter Overton is a really nice guy and Cruise went after him in the most uncomfortable way, it was excruciatingly uncomfortable when he was just asking him a normal question. Cruise could have just said I don't want to talk about that. but he flexed his arrogant power and belittled him badly and threatened him. That and his treatment of Nicole Kidman made me hate him. It hasn't changed over the years. I don't know anyone that doesn't dislike him if the topic ever arises.
Years ago I worked on a film set in Chicago where Tom Cruise was starring in "Risky Business." A most enduring memory of that event was of Tom playing around in the newly planted maple trees on McClurg Court, using them as a jungle gym. I can remember thinking he acted like a cocky, young brat. I watched he and Bronson climbing and swinging through the beautiful ornamental limbs between takes, literally breaking them without any apparent concern. I was told later by a talent agent on set that the maples would have to be replaced. And, BTW, Scientology is famously described by John McArthur as neither "Christian, nor Science."
Bronson Pinchot, who has a pattern of invading women’s space, touching them without permission, and taking items of their clothing-especially during interviews. He brags about his penis and sexual exploits, and he sexually assaulted a co-star during an episode of 'The Surreal Life'.
He was talking about Christian Science, not Scientology. They both suck, so it's an easy mistake to make. Being raised in Christian Science is why James Hatfield of Metallica wrote Dyer's Eve. They don't believe in medical care and so will watch their children die from illnesses and injuries while they pray instead of going to a doctor.
When he dumped his wife Nicole Kidman she was blindsided however she went on to bigger and better things she dodged a bullet and so did Kate I never watched another of his movies not one due to actions to Nicole, personally speaking he’s a nut.
To be fair. Nicole Kidman was getting naked and doing an act on Broadway. No man wants to see his wife's privates on display. Especially when they are millionaires.
I laughed out loud when I heard he was playing the Lee Childs character, Reacher , a six foot 5 ex- soldier. The books stress the main characters' height,
And yet he still made it work, and even the author himself praised him for his performance, despite the obvious miss cast in terms of physical features.
It's just filler. Fillers are regular practice these days because it DOES smooth you out. Even Biden gets fillers. I get fillers. It's just maintenance really and it's not permanent so there is some upkeep.
@@CALLMESIR...”Even Biden? His multiple cosmetic procedures are MORE than obvious! Freakish. Too bad the “beauty” is only skin deep. He is a VERY old 80 something physically & cognitively.
That’s his inability to find and perform the character instead he personifies himself on the character portraying the character as an extension of his own character. It’s lazy acting. And for that reason his performances lack depth. The only thing he succeeds at is delivering intensity in his performances.
After Katie Holmes divorced Tom Cruise and took her daughter Suri with her ,Tom refused to ever see his daughter again. And even though Suri's now 18, he still refuses to see her. Scientology is far more important to him than his own family !
Being rejected by your father is never easy but hopefully Katie will help Suri see she dodged a bullet. When I eventually found out who my biological father was (in my early 30s) I knew for sure I had dodged a bullet. Luckily, I had a lovely stepfather just as Suri has a lovely mum.
That's because they, Katie & Suri are, according to scientology, SPs (Suppressive persons) and therefore PTS (Potential Trouble Sources). I think Katie did what she did to save her child from the Children's Security Check, HCOB 9/21/1961, which is an interrogation technique for children beginning at age 6. She done good.
I'm a 20 year veteran of the Canadian forces, so I don't get offended, but that comment by cruise passes me off, I spent 3, 8 month tours in Afghanistan and let me tell you little fella, your idyllic life is nothing like living in that miserable shit hole, let alone fighting in it.
I have boundless respect for men and women who serve their countries and no respect for little worms like Tom. Thank you for your service to your country, sir!
There's a saying that soldier is only respected when he's defending the country borders because than every1 knows if he fails they die. But when u go in other countries it's a choice by the politicians, hence any1 can make a comment. If you come to pak, Iran, bangladesh or even india you will hear far worse comments about yourself.
I think the difference between those two is Vin Diesel genuinely seems to be enjoying himself in every role he plays. Even if he IS just playing Vin Diesel as Vin Diesel. I think Tom Cruise has just forgotten how to do anything except what he does.
Very true I also agree with what was said by the narrator "He's Been Playing The Same Character " Id say since the late 90s / early 2000s. Different movie, same character. He wants to be seen as a true action movie star •{ example: Jean Claud VanDamn, Scott Adkins, Micheal Ja White, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willace etc. However he fails to recognize that these real action movie stars, are real martial artists, years of experience prior to any movie bs. Therefore they don't have to do other rolls bc that's why they were pulled into movies to begin with. A producer told the co-lead in Creed 2, " it's easier to teach a fighter to act, than it is to teach an actor to fight". Tom Cruise is just an actor who wants to do his own stunts. He will be too old to continue to do his own stunts very soon though.
That movie was weird and gay not to mention a bit of pedo thrown in with the little girl cast. That movie was sick. Brad Pitt is gay. He and Clooney--yep

I never understood the appeal of Tom Cruise, and I've only bothered to watch maybe two of his movies. I am not surprised by these revelations. The Scientology favoritism is really bizarre, like what century is this anyway?
It angers me that they chose him to play Jack Reacher, a deeply moral character. Played by a completely insincere plastic person. Such a disservice to the series.
Nicole left immediately. They were the reason for her divorce from him. She felt very uncomfortable about them and their hold on him. She had almost persuaded him to leave, but Scientology, seeing their mist powerful member on the verge of leaving, stepped in and the marriage broke up. It’s said that the marriage to Katie Holmes was arranged by Scientology. She was a big fan and they thought she would be more malleable. Turns out they were wrong.
How do you know they 'escaped'? Cults are about CONtrol of the MIND, (see RELIGION) not physical control of where the body resides, but that is also a part of it too, of course.
Paul Haggis, the screen writer and director, discussed a lot of this in his book about Scientology. The cult screened and groomed girlfriends for Tom and treats him like a king. According to the book, Shelley Miscavige committed the "crime" of changing the org chart while her husband David was out of town, so he sent her off to who knows where. Anyone considering Scientology should ask themselves WHY the ordinary members (non-celebrities) are forced to break off contact with their friends, relatives, and the world itself.
In the 90’s my grandpa worked as a security guard for the Oscar awards ceremonies and had to be there for the rehearsals too. Well, long story short Tom Cruise tried to get my grandpa and another security guard fired just because the other security guard asked him for his autograph for his son who was coming home soon from deployment. The kicker is my grandpa didn’t even really have anything to do with the situation other than he happened to be talking to the other security guard before it happened.
I had worked my first stunt gig in War of the Worlds. Tom would come by and we couldnt look him in his eyes. He didnt want certain people on set looking him in his eyes. Since I was a new stunt guy he didnt know me. He wanted me to look down. The stunt coordinator was very apologetic. I looked down when I spoke to him anyway because hes so damn short. Lol...
Shelly Miscavige has been seen recently (in Northern California I believe). She tried to get help from police but a handler found her and took her away. I don't believe she is well in the head and the police didn't intervene. I don't know how many law enforcement people have been paid off by the "church" but she is still alive. Everyone pray for Shelly.
Ofc this is totally possible, but I kind of doubt it becuz Shelley has always been an ardent true believer! She was close with L Ron Hubbard & has been waiting for his prophesied reincarnation to come back and take over the cult again! The whole “where’s Shelley Miscavige” thing was largely promoted by Leah Remni as a publicity stunt, in order to cause problems for/call attention to CoS’ practices. 😂 Leah is alleged to have known all along that Shelley was at the Gold campus by choice. Her book was aptly named, heheh!😇
Why wouldn't he be. He basically has slaves to take care of his every need whenever he hangs out at the Scientology complex, they feed him women, they fall at his feet.
I am the perfect age to have watched Tom Cruise’s full career and oh boy it has been quite a ride. Watching him go insane has been better than his movies.

You could not be more wrong about that! I say that as an expert court witness for 30+ years in cases of mothers on antidepressants for post partum who have killed their children on them! Are you aware that in a WY murder/suicide case in 2001 (Tobin vs Glaxo if you want to look it up) Pharma's own expert on serotonin testified that the effect of inhibiting the reuptake (metabolism) of serotonin as these antidepressants were designed to produce should be expected to produce "impulsive murder or impulsive suicide"? Yes I said Pharma's expert is who testified to that & the jury ruled that the antidepressant was the main cause of the loss of those four lives. How do I know? Because I worked that case for over 3 years during the time I was helping the Hartman family gather the evidence for little Birgin & Shawn"s wrongful death case in the loss of their parents comedian Phil Hartman & his wife Brynn as she acted out her nightmare in an Antidepressant-induced REM Sleep Disorder (RBD) - the same thing that killed comedian Robin William's because these drugs are highly protein binding thereby producing Lewy Bodies. Research by Dr. Mark Mahwold & Dr. Carlos Schenck (2 of the country's leading experts on RBD) found that 86% of those being diagnosed with RBD where you act out your worst nightmare in a sleep state lacking normal paralysis are taking antidepressants. You can find their research on that mentioned in the NY Times article in the early 2000's. And if you want to see it played out in real time look up the body cam in the case of a 12 year old Tulsa girl, Jayla Lida, a year ago when she stabbed her 9 year old brother in what she thought was a nightmare until she saw her brother's blood. Those are tragedies that would have never taken place minus your precious so called "antidepressants" which work far more like dissociative anesthetics (like PCP) than an antidepressant! And yes, I was also the lead expert for Columbine survivor (shot 7-13 times by Eric Harris), Mark Taylor after Eric was court ordered to take antidepressants for Anger Management after they broke into the van the year before the Columbine massacre. He too had been having repeated nightmares about shooting up Columbine in the months leading up to that shooting. So in all of those cases your arguement against Tom Cruise's warnings about antidepressants could not be more incorrect! When it comes to antidepressants he may not have all the science down on the drugs or who ordered them & why but he is right in warning about them! I could list many more cases including Houston nurse, Andrea Yates, who drowned her 5 children or San Antonio mom, Otty Sanchez who decapitated her 3 week old son &, like Jeffrey Dahmer ate parts of his brain on her antidepressant or the Illinois doctor on the same antidepressant, Andrea Yates was taking attacked her young sons with a knife in the middle of Andrea's second trial killing one & maiming the other. Sorry but after 30 years & a database of almost 5000 cases, which is WAY BEHIND because I cannot keep up, there are far too many cases & details in my head which I wish had remained only nightmares rather than crossing over into reality! But if you want more evidence that database of cases can be found on our website for the International Coalition for Drug Awareness which I head. One last warning would be to NEVER stop or switch these drugs abruptly as it can cause these serious adverse reactions! All changes in dose must be very, very gradual!
If Germany, a country with "a known history" of handling religious "diferences" as poorly as poorly as possible, says without equivocation that Scientology isn't a religion but rather a Ponzi scheme and treats it (rightly) as a criminal enterprise? You might want to listen to them.

Micky Rourok hit the nail on the head with his opinion of cruise. He can't act so he resorts to doing his own stunts in his movies even if it causes a toll on his body. As for John Travolta being jealous of cruise in the scientology cult from what is written about the "close relationship" between cruise and its leader I'd say Travolta dodged a bullet there. He's also much more multi talented actor than cruise. Pretty sure cruise can't dance. 😊
Scientology went after a friend of my family with verbal threats against him, his wife and his children. Unfortunately he went to a few gatherings at the cult and couldn't afford to pay any fees, which he didn't know about beforehand. He ended up getting a court order against the cult and they backed off. Local police kept an eye out to ensure they stayed away as well.
If you look at his old movies, pre-dating Scientology and his massive success, look into his eyes. There has always been a driven look of ambition there. I noticed it already in the movie Taps, also in the Outsiders. The movies were still good back then, though
Christianity has completely ruined families. Families used to be fine until Robertson got his claws into them. That exploded their ego and stole their sanity.
The only reason Tom Cruise doesn't want "anybody" looking him in the eye, is because he doesn't want to be reminded of how much shorter he is than everybody else! 😂
On a deeper level he doesn’t want eye contact because he fears perceptive people being able to read him and size him up for who he really is- the eyes are the windows of the soul - its very hard to lie with the eyes
Lol. In the Kidman segment you said they were “at the height” of their popularity. He needs training blocks to reach the pedals on the floor of the airplane.
The elephant in the room that you didn’t mention is Tom is gay/bi and uses women to portray a public personna. How did Scientology affect his love life? As soon as Tom showed up ol Miscavige got rid of his wife. In my opinion they are/were lovers.
Back when L. I stopped becoming a Tom Cruise fan many many years ago, and that was before I heard he was involved with Scientology…. I never understood why Nicole and Tom didn't have kids biologically, but when they married other people, they did. I think Nicole didn't want her children brainwashed by scientology. She was not allowed to go to her adopted daughter's wedding because she does not believe in scientology or has no use for it.
I think he's nuts 🥜!! I didn't care for him before I knew he was part of the Scientology group. Having had my own experience with Scientology when our family was forced to pay money to the group to get my brother back when he was moved to a secure location for reprogramming, I think of them as more of a cult than a religion. To each they're own, but I think he's just as scary!! Happy Katy and Suri got away from him before something really bad happened, like what happened to they're leaders wife.
They say that people who have been traumatized repeat their trauma on others. On "Inside the Actor's Studio", Tom said that his older sister let her friends "audition" Tom when he was a very young, school boy. "Did you know that he has been accused of "auditioning" potential girlfriends with the help of the Church of Scientology?"

Same Scientology, but in this video John Travolta is said to be "jealous "of tom cruise? Maybe he doesn't appreciate the way Cruise treats people. Mr. Travolta always seems to be kind and courteous to people everywhere he goes, whereas Cruise acts like a complete jerk to everyone. Some ex scientology members said, there is no jealousy. Travolta is a very laid back and lovely person, you even wonder "what is he even doing here?". They also said he isn't such a strict follower of scientology as Tom Cruise, tho he honestly seems to be a believer 🤷♀️ anyway I only heard nice things about Travolta from people who never were in scientology and those who used to be. While Tom Cruise always gets picked apart. No smoke without a fire, aye?
My understanding is that they have a very terse relationship. Tom Cruise "respects" John Travolta because he has to, but Travolta's recently open-secret bisexuality is a HUGE problem for TC and Scientology in general, and JT knows it. The org is extremely homophobic.
@ContentMadame I've only heard speculation about John Travolta and his relationships but that's not tom cruises business anyway. Tom Cruise needs to focus on his own relationships. He should be embarrassed about the fact that he hasn't seen his only biological child in 12 years. There's no excuse for that. Just because her mom is not a Scientologist, his daughter was still young enough and he should have spent time with her before she turned 18 or became an adult in the eyes of the church. That's one of the things I don't understand about him. But I'm sure you're probably right about having to respect each other. I appreciate your comment and I'm going to look into what you said about John Travolta. Criminal organizations should take note. If you want to be left alone by authorities, claim you are a "church", and get some celebrities with ties to the "elites" in the shadows. That part helps probably more than the celebrities themselves.

What bad MOJO flying around the internet.
XD
So is he such an expert professional actor because he has been honing the craft his whole life? Is that why he only plays one 'type' in his movies, because he already has too many roles to play every single day?
Disclaimer: I actually know very little about Tim Cruise, so this is all probably complete hogwash.

It is clearly BS made up by L. Ron Hubbard.
Bronson Pinchot, who has a pattern of invading women’s space, touching them without permission, and taking items of their clothing-especially during interviews. He brags about his penis and sexual exploits, and he sexually assaulted a co-star during an episode of 'The Surreal Life'.

His criticism of anti depressants for post postpartum depression is REPREHENSIBLE.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! What is your favorite role of Tom?
ALL DISEASE IS TOXICITY, and medications (drugs) are probably the MOST toxic crap anyjuan can ingest.
Yeah, has never been pregnant a day in her life.

Cruise and Revolta are most likely MK Ultra products.
I don't like John Travolta either.
One of his first movies had a big dance scene. See Risky Business.

There's a lot of negative you can say about Tom Cruise, but not being able to act is certainly not one of them
Scientology went after a friend of my family with verbal threats against him, his wife and his children. Unfortunately he went to a few gatherings at the cult and couldn't afford to pay any fees, which he didn't know about beforehand. I never understood why Nicole and Tom didn't have kids biologically, but when they married other people, they did. I think Nicole didn't want her children brainwashed by scientology. I think he's nuts 🥜!! I didn't care for him before I knew he was part of the Scientology group. Having had my own experience with Scientology when our family was forced to pay money to the group to get my brother back when he was moved to a secure location for reprogramming, I think of them as more of a cult than a religion.
