Great to see NIGHTMARE ALLEY recognized here. Apparently, Powers favorite among his performances. Not mentioned in connection with it is Helen Walker‘s superb femme fatale. 1947 was a fine year for film noir & with Jane Greer in OUT OF THE PAST & Walker one saw two of the most memorable spider women in all of noir.
You forgot to mention the1931s All Quite in the Western Front. young Lew Ayers gives a. Outstanding performance. Lew Ayers was wonderful in1934s State Fair. He was outstanding in 1938s. Holiday. Lew Ayres was one of the most underrated actors from ClssicCinema. Being Dr Kildare Ayers played The character to the limit.
Re: The Big Clock Who TF is this co-star Osa Kinane? She's named 4 times and there is no such actress in film and I don't see any credited character with the name "Eve Perkins."
On the same subject I think that Letter From an Unknown Woman is inferior to Only Yesterday in which Margaret Sullavan in a wonderful fragil/strong woman ! Greetings from France 🇫🇷
Any thing with Ronald Coleman is good. I always thought Fred MacMurray was an under rated film star. Your list of under rated films is spot on however they are not underrated by many good film watchers, it is due to that many of these films are not shown on TV anymore, even though many of these actors like George Sanders and Spencer Tracy and Tyrone Powers can act the socks off of many modern film stars today who can only act like wooden dolls! I saw many of theses before and in my teens and they don't show films like Waterloo Bridge or Manhunt on the telly much anymore which is such a shame.
Stupid AI narration, poor pronunuciation--"libel-ed lady"--incorrect facts...whatever happened to someone actually putting in the work to make a vid stand out? Dumb, dumber....dumbest sh!t around. Captain's Courageous wasn't underrated then, and it isn't now. It's acted in the 1930's style, but it still holds up pretty well. The Prisoner of Zenda wasn't underrated, either. Remember The Night is one of my favorites, and Barbara Stanwyck was great in everything. Not underrated, either. Key Largo was highly rated then, and it still is, now. Watching Bogart outwit Edward G. Robinson is a treat. And Robinson was always great.
Open the Psy-Ops Box, otherwise known as “Can of worms.” Corporate USA is knee-deep in maneuvering. The film editor must stage each shot, because it’s us… who are looking and appreciating and planning our “escape”

Not Arlene Dahl, it's Marie Windsor in The Narrow Margin
John Cromwell directed The Prisoner of Zenda (1937). David O. Selznick was the producer.
These AI voices that can't pronounce names correctly have got to go........
McRae: Mc-Ray long A
Bette Davis: pronounced Betty
Milland: accent the 2nd syllable
Thank you for Waterloo Bridge! One of my favorite. Waterloo Bridge was both Leigh's and Taylor's favorite among their performances.

Key Largo made a lot of money in the first year after it's release and is considered the standard for drama to this day!
Please learn how to pronounce the names of cinema stars correctly...that shouldn't be so difficult, should it?
Dirty but it is a Artificial Intelligence, it is not a real person.
It is if you’re AI 😂

"Sunset Bloovd" among so many other mispronounciations. Why can't they just get a knowledgeable human to narrate?
Thank You! Example…”They Live by Night”… I’m not the only Uni ted States Intelligence Officer sent alone on a mission.
Ray Muh-LAND, not MILL-end...

In the mirror is me…I will observe “Me” because it’s TAX-Time in America.
Underrated by WHOM?

Only the smartest, non-linear… thinkers can turn on a dime… change up…and carry out the “Mission”…
