The story of Jason and Carly friendship that is being told at its core is a beautiful one. Both of them are riding for each other in their time of need. When Jason came back and needed someone to believe in him it was Carly and then the Jace-vengers rounded together minus Sam and Sonny. They are family.
I’m glad that Jason finally voiced why he has always sacrificed for Carly’s kids. Ever since Jason was Michael’s father, Carly’s kids have been his kids.
They are more his kids than his biological children. I have nothing against Jake or Danny but Carly’s kids are the ones he actually helped raise. They know they can count on him for anything and they treat him like she does. He doesn’t have that relationship with his sons

Jason has the relationship he has with carly's kids, only because he was actually THERE to be in their lives, nothing bad happened to him during those times. He was actually able to be there for them and help raise them to a certain extent. With Jake, he chose to walk away from raising him to protect him from his lifestyle (it was on jason just as much as it was on Liz, but in the end it was still Jason's choice to officially walk away from jake). Danny wasn't born until 2012, and he spent most of Sam's pregnancy trying to get Sam to give danny away for adoption or to not raise him at all. When jason finally changed his mind, he was shot and disappeared for 5 years. Jake returned in 2015 after being held on cassadine Island for 5 years, leaving him to miss a huge chunk of his childhood without a mother or a father, while jason was also still being held at the hospital in being drugged. Danny was still a small child, so he didn't really understand the meaning of having a father who was there for him. When jason returned in 2017, he tried to build a bond with Jake. But it took a little while because jake was used to the only father figure he knew for 2 years. Jason eventually got to build a bond with jake and everything was good between them. He lived with Danny bc he got back together with Sam and got to raise Danny for a couple of years. But then couldn't have the chance to keep being a father to Jake and Danny because he disappeared again in 2021. It's not so much that Carlys kids "know they know they can count on him for anything" because they treat him like she does, it's because he's actually had the chance to be there for them. Whereas with his own sons he didn't have much of a chance to be a father to them. He was pretty much held against his will for most of his sons lives. Whereas with Carlys kids, he wasnt.

That’s more time than he’s spent raising either of his biological children. Carly’s kids are as important to him as his biological children and he made the decision with them in mind
Loved it! Loved it all! I was in tears lol. Thinking about it, I think Jason has low self-esteem , he often devalues what he means to people. Lucky for him, Carly thinks the world of him, so I hope this whole Pikeman storyline that Carly gets to prove to Jason that he's the true core of their family, Carly always infuses some kind of Jason trait to her children. So he needs to stay put in Port Charles and actually let people take care of him for a change, especially when it comes to his boys as well. If it's okay for Charlotte to love her dad or Avery to love her mom, kids tend to love their parents despite their faults. Despite what Sam and the rest of the town thinks, Jason should just not care and let the people who love him, love him.
Agree with this. Think this is why he’s always said he needs her. She reminds him he’s more than just a mobster and when it’s the worst times she picks him back up and vice versa. She challenges him to think bigger and dream and hope and fight for what he wants. And when he wont - she fights for him. He sees the best in her and she sees the best in him in addition to all their flaws. It’s definitely co-dependent. But it works for them.
Jason reminding Carly to keep THEIR CHILDREN first when making their decision is why you Jarly haters can never convince me that she isn’t the love of his life. They are a family and he’s more committed to the family he made with her than anyone else

With Jason finally admitting that all of Carly’s kids are his kids, it explains A LOT. Like why he said that Carly knocking on his door pregnant was the best thing that happened to him… because Carly gave him four children. This whole time, Jason has really been choosing his kids with Carly over Jake and Danny. And why Jason never understood how Jax mattered, so Carly always had to tell him, “Jax is Josslyn’s father.” 😂
Well, Jason’s not leaving forever because Steve signed a two-year contract so he can’t go away. They can’t have him leave permanently.. I need Jason on GH. That’s why I came back.
Sorry but Carly did the right thing at the time-Cyrus was trying to destroy Port Charles and Carly stepped up. She didn't even want to. How are people forgetting how that storyline actually went down. Carly wast being reckless, it was do or die situation. Jason has always felt that Carly was his family and While I understood when Jason stepped back From Jake - Lucky was the safer choice and Liz didn't purposely get pregnant - Her and Jason finally had their moment after both were cheated on and after years of people telling them that they shouldn't be together. Jake was a surprise And Jason and Liz didn't simply turn away from each other. It was a heavy decision and I watched the whole thing so can't anyone say those episodes were flighty Even though Sam's hatefulness played a big part when she hired men to terrorize Liz and baby Jake to keep her away from Jason, then the men actually kidnapped him. The whole shit scared Liz, Jason and Lucky. At the time the story was well done. Lucky Liz and Jason didn't just decide to push Jason away they talked it through and Jason and Lucky had alot of respect for each other through out it all. Sam though.....eff her. To hell with Samn. She chased Jason. She lied, played cat burglar, thief, and mini monster trying to pursue a Relationship and marriage and wanted children even when he was hesitant. She interfered with his relationship with Carly and with Elizabeth. And then had the nerve to PUSH Jason out. The difference is Carly has NEVER pushed Jason away from her to make turn away from her When she was younger some of her choices made the decision for them but she's always wanted Jason in her life and in her family's. Keisha Ward ( not sure of the spelling) was the love of his life before he lost his memory but after... I thought the most important romances were the Carly Liz and Courtney relationships- they were so impactful and captured moments of serious growth for Jason. Sam has always seemed like they tried too hard to give him someone who could pretend to keep up with him. She never had his empathy and understanding.
She said she won't turn herself into Agent Cates. She didn't say she wouldn't turn herself into the FBI. She can find someone else and flip this. She always has a plan. Lol
This would be the ideal time for some of the media attention on Drew and his campaign, to inconveniently and intrusively focus on other Quartermaine relatives, like his recently-returned from the dead twin brother, the alleged hit man!
