Hi, Thank you for this video. I was filling normal petrol for my Slavia despite i asked sales and service ppl whether i should fill RON 95 they told normal is enough. Now i drove 11k kms with normal petrol i always felt that knocking sound like diesel engine. Thank god now after seeing your video i filled RON 95 in IOL bunk the engine now feels butter smooth and there is no knocking. Its so smooth and mileage has improved a lot. Thank u so much😊 Keep up good work🙏👌🏻
Same, i have 1.5 mt slavia, Shell and power 95 definitely there is a difference engine feels free.....i thought normal power and power95 no difference ... thanks for this video......
When I bought the slavia 1.5 manual, I used shell power. It was good and I felt smooth driving, milage I got 18 to 23. Due to the high price I have changed to HP power, that is ok, milage I got 14 to 16. Due to unavailability in all hp petrol pumps, Now I'm using Indian oil xp95, getting 16 to 18 mileage in highway. I'm satisfied with IO xp95 and shell.
I had tried IO XP95, HP POWER petrol which gave me 2-3km extra mileage per liter in my dominar 250 but still not smooth enough. I even had cold starting problems with them when starting my motorcycle after couple of days. Later I gave a try with Shell unleaded petrol first time which was on par with xp95 but with subsequent refilling I felt the difference in terms of smoothness and great throttle response. And even better I had no trouble with cold starts. Now I'm a frequent Shell customer.

I am using MT15 for the past 2 years, i have driven 15000 kms, out of which i have used 12000 kms full of XP95, only in unexpected situations i used normal petrol, and i can feel i am getting 2 to 3 kms mileage extra in xp95. Usually I get 51kmpl but when i use xp95 I get around 54 to 55kms, so the cost is almost the same so it is not expensive and also it will make our engine life long, And also i have filled only Indian oil in that 14000 km 😂. So better try to use the same dealer and the same octane level.

No issues if you use the petrol daily. Issue only start when it attracts water. Already discussed with bunk employee. Regular e10 will always Available.
17:40 Very good point about water in the fuel. But if you four wheelers, they will have water separator in the fuel tank. But this will only protect will very minimal amount of water.. say, few drops of rain while filling , or the evaporater and condensed water molecules in tank due to overheating in some cases.. like they say, if the underground tank has water in it, nothing can help us. 😢
No worries bro.. all fuel is taken from CPCL.. chennai Petroleum.. below trichy district it is from kochi refinery.. difference is the customer experience u get in different oil companies outlets.. yes when it comes to brand fuel like speed, power or vpower then there is very minor variations in fuel specifications.. but you gotta pay for that heavily
Nicely explained, My frnd runs a bunk. My 2 cents on this, It's never about brand of Fuel dispensers but it's about the quality of fuel. IOCL because of their bureaucracy nature, chances of lesser quality fuel in normal shelter less bunk exist. BPCL maintained max Digitalized infra. HP is also good. IOCL audits are infrequent. IMO one can gauge bunk quality by visiting rest rooms But Go to any COCO or CO or Shell/Reliance (They spend more to monitor/manage fuel) and chances of quality fuel is more About, Mileage IMO it depends on Fuel density which slightly varies. Early morning petrol around 750kg/m³ is considered good no matter if it comes from unadulterated IOCL/shell
@@Narmadhannnjd you should check your owner's manual. They would have mentioned the octane number requirement for petrol. Also, there will be an exemption. Like, if 95 is not available 91 with additives is okay. But 95 will be the optimal. In conclusion, if you're on a long trip and can't find an xp95 you can fill the shell regular.

I have been using Xtragreen Diesel for my 1.5 TDI VW engine, the difference is phenomenal in terms of smoothness and the typical Diesel clatter in VAG cars has greatly reduced. I can definitely tell that the engine is happier with the Indian oil Xtragreen Diesel. Stopped using normal diesel after trying this. If you have Diesel in VAG 1.5 TDI or 1.9/2.0 TDI, try once the Xtragreen,it definitely worth it
If Xtragreen diesel unavailable in some places, switching to normal diesel will it cause any damage to the engine? Also how much does xtragreen diesel it costs bro
@@kalai2721 yes it's still not available in all the places, but it's definitely increasing in many Indian oil fuel stations.mostly i try to fill the tank before every trip,so I didn't want to fill normal diesel, moreover it won't create any damage, but the smoothness will reduce because of the very minute change in combustion cycle, but it's recommended to stick with a single fuel type,if you start filling with Xtragreen, try maintaining that.

Can't thank you guys enough for such brilliant content! My experience-- In my Mojo recommendation as per manual is 91 octane. I have used normal petrol in Bharat, IOCL and HP. I have also used Speed 97 once and XP 95 3-4 times. However, I feel an increase in smoothness with shell vpower. For the 1st 3700 kms I was fully on vpower. Once I shifted to hyd from Chennai, the nearest shell bunk was 30 km away, hence I could not go there every time. Hence resorted to the above brands. Even in that I have been mostly sticking to BP normal. But I feel a roughness in the engine whenever I cross 4-5k rpm on any gear, shell seems to help to an extent whenever I can fill it. Based on this exp, what petrol do you recommend? Can I stick to shell? Compression ratio is 11:1
Indian oil XP 95 recommend for Honda hnes CB350? Some say hness is best for 91 octane petrols(in service manual). If you go higher than that, low compression will cause too much spark ending in producing deposits. Shell V power is also 91 octane, but has additive that allows deposits to clear, hence giving you better engine performance especially in long term.
Xp 95 is best, but in gdi engine, petrol goes into combustion chamber not in intake manifold, then how the petrol will keep the valves clean..so first you will have to clean your valves and use 95 forever.. then carbon deposit will be very less.. By the way do you guys do intake cleaning using media blasting..
