Jay Leno acted like a jerk. Obviously not happy about hosting Jim Henson, the greatest puppeteer ever. If you are going to host a guest, learn about them first!
Jim Henson was terrific. Love the line about Fozzie working at the comedy clubs parking cars. LOL You can tell Jay was still really new to hosting. I never much liked Jay in those early days, but after a few years and making the show his own he grew on me.
+Declan Seeley The sadder part of that is the fact that Mr. Henson could have prevented his death in 1990 but chose not to go to the hospital sooner since he didn't think it was serious until it was too late.
To be fair, I think it's better to not know everything about a guest when interviewing them. If i knew everything about a guest, there would be nothing for me to ask.

“Fonzie bear” ? Wtf I think fozzy watched this and was like “I’ll show him” and that’s why he stole George Carlin’s candy dish from Leno in 2015 in the short lived muppets style office spoof called “The Muppets”
I guess this is explains why he passed away too soon. I wanna claim that he’s not a healthy person, because a mid-40s man like him is already growing gray hairs

Never could understand what nbc saw in Leno, as a kid, didnt find him funny, as a teenager, thought always came across rude and trying to upstage every interview with bad jokes as if jealous focus wasnt on him. Anytime watched again, same things. Even now on youtube, you have channels devoted to Carson, naturally, Dave, Conan, Craig and yet zero to Leno. He wasnt funny or good in the host role, so obviously he was easy to deal with for nbc, easy to manipulate or something else. I wasnt always a big Dave fan, he could come across rude as well, but could see talent and ability to interact with different guests, and should have been him getting show, even Carson wanted Dave. Sorry, sure he has his fans, and feel for things heard about his wife, but as entertainer, even decades later watching clips, he just is horrible
You can hear Kermit in the man's natural voice.
Did you say the mans voice
That’s Jim Henson
But yes your right you can hear it
Yep! Kermit, Rowlf, Ernie, and tons of other characters carry a piece of Jim in them.
I liked him as ernie the best

Well, maybe if Johnny Carson didn't take the day off that night, maybe he would've welcomed Kermit more than Leno did. (and Jim Henson)
