    They left out the private property owners group, should allow them to apply for BTO as well.

    Will you suggest singles of age 29yo to start on private property route now?
    But only have budget to buy resale 1 bedder 800-900k at most.
    Would prefer to buy brand new condo but starting all above 1.1M

      i think bto can make more money. find a mate. start on bto. everybody i know from bto route make 400 to 500k. one bedder pte hard to sell. but for rental play only. capital appreciation side dont think can even cover 3% interest.

      The condition of making money from property is how much time you have.....
      If a person is single and wait till 35 to buy BTO, one can at most flip 2 properties ie 5 years to construct + 10 years MOP = 45 - 50 years old. If you aim to retore at 62, you can at most sell the BTO And buy the next property. So basically can only esrm 2 rounds when you sell your property at 62 yo and downgrade all the way to 2 room bto.
      But if you start at 24 yo, the moment you graduate from university, you have 38 years to go before 62 yo. And if you buy pte property, you can probably flip 3 or 4 rounds from 24 to 62 yo...
      So I will advise my child to go for pte at 24yo..

    I have 3 children, all 20 years old and above and singles. I have still one more chance for BTO. Do I have better chance to get a.BTO flat?

    I know couple with BTO, no kids only want dogs & cats (furkids). Take back grants lah if they cannot procreate in a pre-determined period.

      @@alanweeproperty I understand. My point is, some policy needs to keep up with time. While i definitely respect their choice/lifestyle/health condition, others are deprive of a chance to BTO cos we don't hv a family nucleus at a point of time.

      its the same like property...all can be sold. either a major makeover or reduce prices. Maybe u need to go the same + pump some iron in the gym. no pain = no gain.

    Public Housing must work like Public Housing , not an Asset ! Sad to say , Housing in Singapore is in a big mess created by PAP ! VTO PAP , a must ! 😅

    damn funny sia all your videos ! good suggestions for the govt! but you sure those that have 3 children have 14k income? a lot of malay familes are lower income but they still have 3 children+ . maybe for the chinese ones yes haha

    Singapore future is bleak, high cost of living, high inflation, etc. I am worried about the sharp, declining Chinese population. How to address this option to increase the Chinese population is not practical to encourage more Malaysian Chinese to take up sg citizenship. The mainland Chinese with single child and declining population are not keen to come to Singapore to work, take up citizenship here.
    Maybe, we can give more PR and citizenship to India and other South East Asia countries. They can boost the Singapore population and contribute to more national service personnel in the military and uniformed groups.
    More local Chinese, especially professionals, are thinking of leaving Singapore. A time will come oversupply of resale properties in the market. Singapore economy is now at its peak.

    I agree. Try ur best to settle down and make baby. My circle of friends who stay single or cannot find the right one envy friends with kids.

      I agree, having a kid open a whole new world for me. There is no point in having multiple assets or high annual gross if life is about me and me only

    Malaysia foods are more delicious and tastier because the Malaysia foods are heavier and stronger in taste, more salt and more sugar. Once you tasted foods of a heavier and strong taste, like drugs, more and more drugs, all the way, no turning back. Thus,
    Singapore foods will not taste better than the Malaysia foods because Singapore foods are lighter in tastes, less salt and less sugar.
