Damn straight! I hadn't seen (well I had, just not used) a 60% keyboard, and when I tried my co-workers Ducky something, and another co-workers whoknowswhat, I had to get one! So, I went to local store, checked the models, and decided on this one (HyperX is a "known good" brand in my head). The keyboard really felt sturdy (that's why I had MX Keys before) and oh boy is it great! The software let me map Caps Lock into a second Fn key, and now I have a second set of arrows in WASD, among other oddities, and now that I lubed the switches, it's pretty much perfect! Go get one! (Not a paid comment, btw, it really is great!)
Great video! I really like the alloy base, RGB, keycaps and the fact that the USB cable is now on the left side. Can the switches be desoldered and lubed? Can those loose stabilisers be replaced with higher quality and tighter snap-in versions? If so what are the go-to snap-in stabs?
the 3 level feet and type-c cable were already present on HyperX Origins actually, before the Ducky collaboration, but you said you haven't owned a HyperX keyboard in awhile, so it's understandable :)
The space bar gives me flash backs (Nam helicopter scene ) from on old corsair K70 I used to have. 🤮 At least this keeb is $99 instead of the $170. Great video BT!
bought after watching your review and i am very satisfied with it. 1 thing though mine does not sound like in this video. wonder if they have improved it since then. mine is pretty quiet and i like.
Ok, so I got few months ago took it back the RGB wasent working I thought that it was a malfuctioned keyboard, sent it back, then bought the same one did the same thing, it wouldn't work with windows 11 so I tried it on my other laptop that had windows 10 and it worked fine, ended up just sending it back and getting the razer huntmans mini, Used that for about a couple months or so, I just didnt like the RGB on the razer it wasen't that bright and I really liked the hyperx cause it was really bright and more colorful then the razer RGB soooo I did a little more research again and found out that someone said to go into the WINDOWS SETTINGS and turn off the DYNAMIC LIGHTING! So I gave it another shot and rebought the hyperx alloy 65 AGAIN! and it WORKED!! I was so happy I'm like why didn't anyone tell me this before!!! I had been all over the internet looking and searching all over!! and now I have like 3 keyboards but we don't talk about that!
If every company used the best material and lube. Would we have 99$ keyboard to choose from? If they go and do all that every keyboard would be 150$ and up.

Great video you seem to know your shit. I was unaware of the popularity of hyper X but I also don't get out much. I've owned many kits of Kingston hyper X memory over the years but as far as peripherals,I had a pair of cloud 2 headset like 5-6 years ago and they were soild built like a tank, Loved them but just picked this keyboard up for 80 Canadian dollars. Legit not interested in pre-built boards, but watch because BT's content is sooo good!
Appreciate ya!
Haha same.
Bump
Same here but its interesting to watch the evolution over time and how enthusiast features eventually trickle down

Oh how I was waiting for this!! I wanted the BT point of view as I like to say...haha

Ngl that spacebar is pretty lit🔥
the sound is not tho 🔥
randomfrankp. That's all I need to say here.
It’s not the spacebar making the sound it’s the stabs making those rattle sounds
