It has been proven for several years that stages that are not The Grid cause rollback. Not a huge deal, like he says, for a fun tournament, but still I'd prefer to play SFV in the best conditions possible when it's not everyday you can play this game anymore.

People used to think THIS game was about "skipping neutral". We had no idea that the next game would literally have a "skip neutral" button lol. I really miss the methodical, deliberate pace of the ground game in SF5. The way modern FGs are trending these days, I don't know if we'll ever see this pace again...

Not to mention, the drive meter management shenanigans may be unbalanced now but in the future they could really make neutral shine in the future. I think drive is being maligned the same way the v trigger system was. Which proves to me, now that sf5 is missed, that this is cyclical.

With tweaks to both drive rush and drive gain/loss rates, using drive rush can present risk to the user as well because the lower your gauge, the closer to burnout. Drive rush may be a neutral skip but given a few tweaks of the drive system, the combination of traditional sf footsies and the already cool decision making scenarios the drive system creates will result in a game that is entertaining. Just like sf5 needed a few tweaks.
SF5 was a great introduction to 2D fighting games. It made Teaching fundamentals very well in this game. With the punished counterspacing counterhead combos, it. Also taught the new player about frames. In frame data as having most medium punches plus on block. Most people didn't like this game because it lacked player expression. When playing at the highest level There was not very many things. You could do to distinguish yourself from other players That being said capcoms, entire point of making street fighter five was making an accessible game for the new generation of players and in that they succeeded in my eyes

Just looking at the character selection screen then looking at the different costumes and that sweet feeling when activating V trigger from a hit confirm feels so dang sweet. The roster is incredible and picking the trigger and v skill is great.

Yeah considering SF likes to do funky proportions I think the cel shaded less realistic approach looks way better than RE Engine. Like look at Manon she looks weird LOL. I still think 6 looks uncanny as hell
@@shaimin420 RE engine is a double edged sword. It's good at realistic models and obviously makes it way easier for Capcom to develop games hence how fast they are releasing but it makes every game look to homogeneous. Non have any real style to them.

Street Fighter games always start with really high damage then they nerf it after a few patches Vanilla SF5 had really high damage then they had a huge overall damage nerf in season 3

I love SFV. The aesthetics, the sound effects, the roster, the music, the gameplay..easy 8/10 for me. Only things I don’t like about it are the grab techs, projectile chip damage, the fact that EX meter isn’t separate from super, and that there’s only 1 super.

I want to play fighting games for first time but i'm afraid of a lot of stuff... Online, lack of single player content, abandoned older entries(like this sfv, less than 250 players on steam), my lack of skills because my experience is almost zero and i feel like i musted started 15 years ago instead of wasting my time on other genres of gaming...
this game is fun, but i would go for sf6, besides the singleplayer you will only find few people playing, the netcode is trash and everyone playing are probably veterans. This game was great to teach fundaments and all i sorry you missed, in sf6 there are some tools that allows you to skip neutral a lot, but besides that is a much better game. Dont be afraid of losing, will happens a lot, but its the only way to learn, give it a shot. If you dont mind playing the AI sf5 is a great buy too, you can get it very cheap with all characters, stages and skins, and you can learn in a safe enviroment, when you feel like you are ready go for sf6, you will not waste your time learning 5 because these games has so much legacy skill between them.
