This song was a young man’s anthem who got his 19yo girlfriend pregnant in college and chose to make the decision of love and life. It was not easy by god it was not. But still married 13 years and another beautiful child later I have not once regretted my decision. This song hits different for me. Thank you KOL.

Their musical composition- the voice and the way the instruments compliment Caleb is unparalleled in my mind. Such simple music- hits down in the soul
You can tell it all comes from the heart. It’s imagination/creativity fueled by feeling-and uncomplicated by any kind of overthinking or overediting.
This song played in my head constantly when my wife and I were struggling for several years with infertility. Two perfect daughters later, and it’s still one of my favorites.
That same faith begins ….sightless trust is chosen soon broken…. peasantry propagated continuum ending with different results . You probably actually have values,integrity, and real love for your wife. Many men have zero interest on their own children much less their other halves

With great regret, this wasn't my experience when participating in their recent performance. It was difficult to hear the lyrics due to instruments overwhelming the vocals, the tempo was inconsistent, turned up late and finished on time, and given all cliched communication with the audience. After seeing Lumineers and Hans Zimmer Kings of Leon were disappointing. I have all of their CDs, they helped me through a divorce and I waited 7 years to get the chance to see them. Very disheartening experience.
I wish all bands were like this. I mean after I believe this is what fans want, but some just get all crazy when they are on stage hahaha

This is prob my favourite song of KOL...It feels like it just could go on and never end that rif and you never get bored of it... I bought their Aha Shake Heartbreak totally accidentally looking for something new and fresh to listen to. It was 2004 October and they just released it and I listened in the shop a few songs and was like "whatta??!!!" I have never heard anything like it and fell in love straight away...It marked a new beginning for me in my life as I ended my long time relationship and started my new life from the beginning again...KOL never left me since. They are one of MY bands that I claim to myself.
ASH is their best album. I stand by that. Saw them so many times in San Marcos/Austin in college. Been a fan forevssss ❤️

I remember when I first heard of Kings Of Leon, I was not a fan at all. I went with my ex girlfriend to one of there concerts and fell absolutely in love with the band and the music they played. Extremely talented and underrated in my book!
Almost my exact story. Went to a concert with my wife because she got really cheap tickets. I fell in love with their music that night and have been to 6 more shows.
Daniel Kondrath only thing I still talk to my ex about lol. I’ve been to 3 more shows since then and can’t wait to go to many more!

I was in their concert in the absolutely packed o2 arena in London this weekend and man oh man I love this band....my wife asked me why they dont put on a show like some more popular bands out there and my answer was: Simply because they play great music. Great band, great songs, great musicians. No gimmicks required
I was also at the O2, best band I've seen live, they played a great set but still missed many great tracks, shame they couldn't have played longer

This is a hypnotic emotion inducing song like no other. I feel like people who are fans of Kings of Leon have a certain take on life and a need and want to be taken on this controlled exciting whilst still calm and poetic journey with each of their songs, just incredible.

This song continues to hypnotize me. I love the Johnny Cash rhythm throughout and the steady drum beat - I just feel the anger and anxiety of the persons driving off in confident defiance of their situation. This version with the harmonizing just blew me away!

How does anyone choose a best song? I think different songs are perfect for different moods. Ir even what id going on in your life in them moments. I can play one song over and over, and do the same with another on a different day. His voice and emotions make them all though. Totally 💕
