- It's hard for me to express in words how much I love this part of our beautiful country. Its an area that means so much to me personally, having spent the last 33 years of my life, every summer down here camping and exploring with my family and friends. I learned so much and have only the best memories which I continue to make every time I visit. I hope the footage can speak for West Cork itself and you all enjoy.

I am from Birmingham, but this brought back so many memories. Over the past 25 years this area was the spiritual home for me and my wife though we are no longer together. We have felt so much peace and fulfilment and feeling of belonging that reaches your soul. Thank you for bringing back those memories.

Absolutely stunning. I backpacked around the world for almost 10 years and seen some amazing places, met some incredible people, but I keep telling my friends, Ireland is the most stunning place.... if we get the weather, and that's the caveat.

Beautiful film. Almost Zen like in the sense of calm and pristine nature. Has a real meditative quality with the woods and still water. Captures the mood and texture of Mizen, Glengarriff and Beara.

Ah Jason it’s honestly such a different place down there. My favourite part of this country and always has been. Ive just found your channel, beautiful video. Where was the rock pool you swam in? Or anyone else know? We spent 2 weeks on the Sheeps head peninsula two years ago and it was beautiful, got gorgeous weather and really loved it. 👍
Thanks for watching Karl! That particular rock pool is over at Toe Head but unfortunately no longer accessible by foot 😭 However it’s still possible to get to via paddle board or kayak if conditions are calm 😃
