I agree with a lot of the other comments I’ve read. The way you compared and transitioned all the clips and then did it quicker at the end so I didn’t forget what the last one sounded like… freaking perfect, thank you! Lol
Can’t decide if I should remove the spark arrestor or keep it in as the stock pipe doesn’t come with one and I ride MX/SX. Some say keep it in for back pressure and others say remove it to include PC?
Great comparison video! I installed a FMF Powercore 4 on my 21 YZ250F. Didn’t really make it any quieter, but got rid of that horrible raspy sound the stock muffler made.
They are honestly both great systems but I definitely prefer the cleaner tone from the pro circuit. The fmf sounds great too just a little too much raspiness.
It’s hard to go wrong with either, both are great quality pipes. I really liked the fmf, but in the end I thought the PC had a slightly better exhaust tone. Power wise I couldn’t tell a difference.
In person the pc has a cleaner sound, the FMF still sounds great but the pc has more of a high quality sound. Both are great pipes though and can’t go wrong with either.
Nice comparison! YZ250F's are loud bikes - you think the PC is quieter than stock? Did you have the SA inserts in the FMF and PC pipes? The stock pipe performance is very good - did you find a noticeable improvement in the FMF or PC and if so which is best...FMF or PC?
Not sure it is quieter than stock with the insert out but definitely a much more enjoyable sound. With the insert it is quieter. I would like to get my hands on the ti6 pro, I think that would be the perfect combo for the bike. All three were very similar in power, pc felt a little smoother off the bottom than stock/fmf but no noticeable power gains with pc or fmf that I could tell, put them on a dyno and I’m sure there are some gains but I honestly couldn’t tell. I personally like the pc better solely because it has a much cleaner sound.
@@EnduroScum Thanks for the detailed reply. I've ridden a '22 YZ250F with stock and full FMF system and played with mapping. The stock system is very good and also very loud (raspy loud). Such a fun bike!
@@mxengineer1 the stock system is really good, I wouldn’t have switched if it wasn’t for the raspy sound. I really love the bike, what all mapping have you tried? @@EnduroScum I am fortunate to have friends that let me ride their bikes plus I have a few of my own! I like the "Hard Hitting" and "Keefer Free Flowing" maps on the '22 YZ250F as both make a nice change in character to the power - not big change but noticeable.

I can’t really make a fair comparison since every bike/pipe combo are a little different. It’s been since 2014 since I’ve had a t-5 and those were dual shorty mufflers of my crf250r.

This is probably the best exhaust comparison on YT.. TY. 🙏
Thanks, glad it helped you out.
I like the FMF but that PC sounds really smooth!

@@EnduroScum just curious is there any way to get a spark arrestor on a PC pipe?

The PC makes every bike sound like a kawi
Straight to the point and great job going back to back with comparison . I like the deeper sound from the Fmf. PC is cleaner though.
Pc definitely sounds the cleanest, find was pretty deep and throaty.

Did you feel more power?
The pc sounds meaner to me But the FMf has more of a growl But of you like
The normal snappy dirtbike sound i would go with the pc
Best pipe video I’ve seen yet. Perfect
Thanks, I appreciate that.
man I'm kinda partial to FMF but that pro circuit sounds wayyy too clean!!

I second that statement
FMF for life 😂 I want the whole track to hear me barkin😂🤘🏼🤘🏼
Haha! Nothing wrong with that!
Pro Circuit sounds really good!
For sure, fmf is good, but the pc blows it away when comparing sound quality.
I’m gonna have to say the fmf is my fav

As many people say, the stock muffler seems louder. (FMF sounds best imo
At this point it's really just "what looks best" as all the aftermarket exhaust sound the same.
The Pro Circuit is a lot quieter, but the FMF sounds pretty cool.🤙🇺🇸

Stock sounds really responsive
Stock is really good, a little raspy for my taste but power delivery/throttle response is good for stock compared to some other manufacturers
Nice comparison video
Thanks!

Which one sounded the quietest in person? Kinda seems like the PC. Nice video seams

Yamaha #1
I do love the Yamaha bikes!
Do you have to retune or re map a YZ250FX when you put on a slip on? I just bought a 2023 YZ250FX.
I run the keefer tune, so I had a different tune on before I put the exhaust on and did not change the tune.
@@EnduroScum hard hitting, aggressive or free flowing tune? I have all 3 on the phone app.
Are these complete exhausts or just slip on?
In the comparison they are just the slip on mufflers.
I don’t suppose you know the noise reading in the pc pipe?
I did not check the db levels on any of them, sorry.
Which one would yall recommend
