The Naturals is awesome. It is a great story. I am an adult but my granddaughter was loving it so I read it. Now I am reading all of her books! Actually I have read 3 of the books on these list!
I don't read a lot of dark romance but I have read the Nyla K series and they're long and intense. You'll definitely have to be in the right mood. As dark as they are, there's also something about them that feels like an upside-down version of a small town
I really enjoyed Stephanie Archer's Queen's Cove series! They were definitely more cutesy romances and I giggled so much but I had a great time. Small town vibes and the books follow a set of 4 brothers.
The Naturals is the series that solidified Jennifer Lynn Barnes as one of my favorite authors. It is one of those series where it seems impossible that the next book could be better than the last, but it is. All the books are quick reads, and even though they are YA, the clever writing makes them enjoyable for adults as well. Highly recommended.
Want to read Distorted but haven't yet. I like dark, but I feel like it's so dark I need to read lots of happy stuff first lmao I haven't read losers yet but The Dare was so good!!!! So I can only assume Losers would be great too.

Butcher and blackbird is surprisingly one of my top books of the year. I really dislike dark romance but this hits differently. So cute and horrifying 😆

I'm on the 4th book in the naturals series. Book one is by far my favorite, but loving the whole series. It's like YA criminal minds. And for YA, I've really enjoyed it and it doesn't seem too young.
I'm actually reading Best Frenemies right now, I'm enjoying it! Now, you must read 6 scorched Roses , It's my favorite of the Serpent and the Wings of Night series Vale (The Vampire) and Lillith (The Human) love story to me is equal to Oraya and Raihn's love story! This novella is so compelling and I generally do not read Vampire Romances until this story, and I'm obsessed with this novella!!

The Dark Witch is a Trilogy. It takes place in Ireland and all 3 books are amaxing!!!! I wanted more! Another good trilogy by her is Blood Brothers trilogy. This one will have on the edge the whole time!! I read another book earlier this year The Beach Chimes? I will look at my Libby app to see. I loved everything by Taylor Jenkins but I could not get into Carrie Soto. I am on a Sabrina Jeffries and Ana Huang kick and just finished 8 of her books and Sabrina Jeffries I have some on hold.
Don’t do it lol. Things we left behind. Absolutely love the characters but the story was a let down compared to book 1 and 2. I’m glad I read it to wrap up the storyline but the book was a totally different vibe and the “small town” was missing, which was part of the good times in book 1 and 2. We miss out on everyone.

Agree. Soto book was super disappointing. I had to DNF. I was just bored to tears (and I play tennis).
