Same here Daniel!! Funny thing is that I've been a Strung Out fan for over 20 years (I'm 35 now), seen em live kazillion times... and I actually just recently became a Bad Religion fan during pandemic-times (a lot on the headphones while running). I know it sounds weird but somehow Bad Religion always just slipped under my punk-radar (although I've seen em live quite a few times as well) :o So yeah... loooovin this cover!!
Great cover guys❤ As a Swedish BR fan I've always loved this song. But now that I've moved to the US from a country that abandoned the churches decades ago and converted to the religion of science,I was shocked to see that Christian nationalism is still a thing here.A huge chunk of the people in this amazing country needs to let the 1950's go and join us others in the 21st century.Big hugs and stay safe everyone 👊
@@nikmarshall2989 I'm sorry man, and I respect your opinion. But he and his vocals in this are about the most low energy punk rock I've ever seen. Watch the one where Milo sings jealous again ,if you want to see energy. And Milo is way older than this guy.
Jason proving once again why he's one of the best front men in the business. The bridge was perfect. The sonic waves produced allowed the discomfort of the single moms and atom bombs to set above the mix in a way that draws attention to the plagues this country still faces even in our technologically advanced society. And dead Jesus hanging in the background was a nice touch, although I think something like that would freak Jesus out if he ever came back.
Genesis 1:29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruits with seed in it. They will be yours for food."
Is there any way you could interpret The Presidents of the United states of America with Peaches? That song is one of my earliest memories to music. Would love to see your take on this :)
- Me : I'm too old to headbang like when I was a teenager. - The palm mute in the vid from 2:01 : Liar. Such a great line up (as usual) for a great cover, I feel it particularly energizing and love it ! So funny to see a telecaster duet and beside this, Rob Felicetti's stormtrooper helmet ! Many thanks for all that ! Love, vibes, fistbumps to all of you guys !
I just adore Jason Cruz vocals on anything. Not despising Greg, but Jason has some soft feature on his vocals that makes anything a 100% way pleasant to hear.
This is so fucking good. Just had my Strung Out concert tickets in Toronto from a show that was supposed to be in April 2020 get refunded because of COVID. This helps soften the blow from that. Thank you.
Thought Jeff Stinco looked like the twin of Dan Andriano from Alkaline trio. Absolutely love Bad Religion, one of the few punk bands I can think of who've constantly evolved their sound without turning into a totally different genre.... Yes I'm ignoring 'into the unknown'. I'm also having selective memory regarding No Substance and The New America. Though even those albums have some tunes on and when played live don't sound out of place.
LOVE it. And, yup, the discovery of Bad Religion growing up into punk was a HUGE eye opener. Literally decades later they continue to impress, rock, and be one of my favorite bands. Y'all did their track proud. Keep it up you crazy sumb@tches.
Another total crush!! Well done lads!! If it took covid lockdowns to bring this on...I am ok with the state of affairs. Thanks guys for always being tight AF and killing it at every level! See ya in the pit!!
You guys are always so awesome. And I always like the smol uke part at the beginning. Also idk how but yt unsubbed me I was like I wanna have notifs for this shit and I wasnt subbed anymore I was like tf. Love you guys lets keep punk rock alive
The times I've seen strung out in europe, Jason always gives a 100%, can't deny him credit for that but...as a live singer I think he lacks technique and it seems this only got worse. Huge fan of his/their studio work though. Whenever here, I'll go see them but always with reservation in regards to Jasons vocal performance. He seems to be holding back for this song and it works brilliantly. Great cover!

i find when these old school punks cover each other its a new art form. i could just sustain myself on 40+ year old dudes playing each others songs.
I totally agree! These videos have me becoming obsessed with songs that I fell in love with 20 years ago.
Exactly Tom something for the 40 year olds
Are we calling Simple Plan and Bowling for Soup old school punks now?
@@bfluker85 I'm just now trying to be okay with Rancid and NoFX being called old school, but maybe I'm just old as ass
Agreed x2.
Man, this is one of the greatest covers I've ever heard.
Thanks Gabriel !
agreed. that was amazing
Agree hole
I have been a metal head since 1980. When this song came out so long ago, I realized there were two forms of music for me.
I'm a huge Bad Religion and Strung Out fan so I loved this.
Same over here Daniel! Glad you enjoyed it.
I'm a huge fan of Bad Religion. I even bought a brown fender precision.

My favorite Bad Religion song being sung by one of my absolute favorite lead singers.
My two favorite bands of all time. I'm 40 and still listen to punk rock and take my kids to shows now.

My wife : is he still bald?
Both of us : yep

Hello from Canada! Thanks for checkin' out the vid Gustavo !
We are blessed to be getting this music. This may not be the darkest timeline yet! There is light in this music. Keep up the solid work guys!

@@prg1982 unintended, but yes. Now I have the urge to rewatch!
@@sardilongboard I love that show so much
Thank you Sean !! Much appreciated !
I'm from 1980 - 13 years old first listen this song... for nowadays because it's immortal song !
Why is it so good? Jason’s vocal performance here has so much energy and character. 10/10
Energy?? I must have missed something.
@@jedisok13 no? I thought he seemed so in the moment, like hitting the good tec but in a kinda chaotic way.
I personally thought he was the worst part of this one

To me, Bad Religion is the “Iron Maiden of punk rock”. Bad Religion is awesome.
Other than that, cool:).
It's cool that you said that cuz in a musical way it's true 😎🤘 I like both maiden and bad religion and punk and metal etc.
to me, Strung Out is the Iron Maiden of punk rock :)
*jumping through his room* 🤘🏻👍🏻🎸🎵
Smokin' weed in front of a crucifix: that's punk as hell!
It's a natural herb, not really haha
If he was smoking crack though..
What do you think the burning bush was that Moses stumbled upon? 😉

Cover is fantastic!
I want to do Social Distortion's "So Far Away" with you, Mikey!
80-85 was eye opening, Along the Way is still one of my favorite songs and I have no idea why
Holy cow! Awesome!
I just adore Jason Cruz vocals on anything. Not despising Greg, but Jason has some soft feature on his vocals that makes anything a 100% way pleasant to hear.
Greg did it much better in every way.
Love this one so much. Come back to it a few times a week
What an awesome cover - stays true to the emotions and intensity of the original while adding a little bit especially with the beautiful vocals.
excellent \m/
Another awesome cover! Keep it up with this covers, they are so good. It would be nice to see some millencolin, rise against or strike anywhere cover.
Millincollin would be rad.
After the amazing Buzzcocks cover with Olga these covers reached a new level and this fits well into that category
One of my favorite songs! Excellent cover!
One of the best yet. Well done.

Love your channel. This one might be my favorite so far. So freaking good
Thanks so much Jeremy!

That breakdown at the end, perfect. One of, if not their very best.
Generator is the best song by bad religion

Yeah, it sounds like REM Losing My Religion.
This was awesome!
I loved Jason in this. It's definitely not his normal style, but awesome nonetheless. It felt like he was holding back a bit.
Jason " hey camera dude, make sure you get some hell sick angles of me puffin on me dart...that'll be fully punk and shit"
I got burned out on this song and that won't ever happen again thanks to this.
Man, Jason Cruz is everything you want in a lead singer. Great job
Lol he's out of tune nearly every show I've ever been to, good stage presence
Fuckin' A fantastic, as always.
