What I'm not grasping here or not understanding is why is there always a circle, or some form of a circle in your paintings that's empty? Is this something that you're trying to purposely achieve or is it just something that happens with your paintings. Because my style of mixing the way I mix my paints is very similar to yours,, my paintings never have an empty circle in them somewhere, and I do my paintings pretty much the same way that you do and my never have this circle which is I guess the center of the painting with all these Pearl around them. My paintings never have that. I'm wondering if this is one of your goals in your paintings is.. And if so how are you getting that

Everyone works on achieving what brings them joy. Fluid art is always fluid. Not always predictable….the negative space happens when the black paint is poured directly in the puddle paints. The puddle paints disperse a bit and the black sinks. The negative space also acts as a focal point. If the entire canvas was just cells, there is no place for the eye to rest, thus it just looks too busy. Ever since I’ve started this process many years ago there has always been a negative space. Without it it would just seem plain, especially on the large canvases that I pour on. The galleries that I’ve shown in recognize the depth of the paintings and the movement towards the negative space, so do those who purchase my paintings. MelyD who started this process many years ago had negative space in some of hers as well. I took her lead and made my own way in pouring these pieces.

Oh okay now I see I just wasn't sure how you were achieving that because I can't seem to achieve that. I've been doing this kind of art style a long long time I used to work in a gallery at German gallery, and we use different products that were German products which I no longer have access to I'm in Canada. And it gave the same results but it was different kind of product now I'm not sure if it's the same product just a different name in German I'm not sure I never even knew that there was our channels on UA-cam this is all very new to me. But thank you for clarifying that I'm wondering if the pain that you pour on top of the poor which is your black pink that you stretch out over it is it thicker or heavier than the paint That's underneath it that's what I'm not clear I'm just not understanding that the problems that behind it that's all I'm not criticizing you please you're one of my favorite artists there is on UA-cam probably the favorite of mine that I watch religiously I'm not criticizing it I'm just trying to figure it out I'm not grasping it that's all I'm having lots of difficulty again@@dwightpours1261

DWIGHT, I've been searching for the colander that you use and can't find it anywhere. Where did you get it? Please answer.
