I wasn’t sure what to think while you were were forging it. It looked like it as going to be to short. I really like the handle you went with. It turned out great.
Obviously a beginner. Because if you knew anything about rebar, you would know it is a NO SPEC STEEL. it will never harden sufficiently enough to keep an edge... it is worse than a 1010 grade steel!
Beginner or not, still fun to watch, keep it up, I love the 'practice with anything, and learn with time' approach. Years from now, you'll be a master.

Try to make it full tang next time, much sturdier that way. And make it out of a truck spring blade, that's how they do the original kukris.
