amazing days although a wigan fan !loved alex murphy legend my father was a saints fan and always took me to wigan at this time as alex murphy was coach and there onwards until i was old enough to go my self great days wish i could go back.
Say what you like about Murph but he is one of the greatest characters the game has ever known something sadly lacking in the vast majority of todays 'athletes' and media friendly coaches. He was responsible for coaching a Wigan side to it's first silverware for 18 years (only a few weeks prior to this clip) and although we were beaten fairly easily taking us back to Wembley the following season for the first time since 1970 laying the foundations for the unprecedented years of success to follow
@M You appear to have copied and pasted thos same, pointless comment on several Rugby League videos. So, by your way of thinking, McDonald's is the finest culinary experience in the world? An epicurean delight? 🤢One thinks not.
Brian Clough was a gobshite ! I used to follow footie in the late 60's till the 80's and know all about Brain Clough. Alex Murphy has got the t- shirts. One of our greatest ever players, and I mean worldwide.
MAURICE AND WESTY,S FACE SAYS IT ALL ! LOOK LIKE THEY SEEN A GHOST! And they wernt on the recieving end ! 😂😂😂From Mr Murphy,s Honest Post Match Review !and His plan for the slight change in The teams work Rota for the following week!😂😂 CV

Do rugby league players roll around on the floor like overpayed prima-donna panseys when another player bumps into them slightly?
@M obsessed 😂😂😂
He's basically asking 'em to turn up to training or they'll get in trouble. What the fuck....? No more Doctor's notes, please.....? Wow.......

That is so funny! Tells it like it is! When he said the next home was against Widnes, being a widnes supporter, does anybody know who won that game?
Neither actually, assuming it's the game on Feb 27th 1983, it was a 6-6 draw.
Thanks for that information, checked on the Internet and yes it was that game on the 27 February 1983 which ended up 6 all.
