Hello, my dissertation was on the creation of “Le Prophète.” I would have loved to have seen your production but the performance dates conflicted with a trip to the Festspiel in Germany. I am wondering if there was a video made that I could see?
I bought tix to see Le Prophet at the festival. I remember that it was performed way back at the Met with Marilyn Horne, but I didn’t see it then.
Small correction: Les Huguenots was fully staged by Jan Popper at UCLA (in the US, obviously) in 1973.
