Nothing is perfect but it’s getting better, no co anglers, you don’t have to fish all 9 EQ events, is awesome. I don’t agree with the Elites fishing this format but it does give them an opportunity to re qualify for the Elite and once you get to the EQ the entry fees really jumps at you $3,500 that’s a significant increase just my two cents but overall it’s gonna be an exciting year good luck making your decision
I think the change is good overall. I think Elites that fish the EQs and are already qualified won't have an effect on the top 10 that will advance. (Double qualified) It looks like a money grab by BASS. But depending on scheduling it seems that Elites could actually fish some of the opens as well.
I think its an improvement. Like you said it will cut cost and everybody could use some extra money now.👍👍👍👍👍
I think its a good thing. Gives some guys that couldn't be away 9 weeks a chance to make it along with not having to spend as much.
Hey Miles: Great insight as always. I too think the format change is a good thing because it’s going to put less of a burden on anglers especially with the crazy prices on everything these days. Also do you think with all the social media we have now companies in the fishing industry are realizing that they may get more exposure from what angles post/say on social media than they can from any tournament? They have gone down the list for when anglers double qualified before. Hopefully, it will stay the same. The new format is great.
I think it’s a good thing. 2 chances to qualify if you mess up an event and gives more a chance to qualify if they just want to do one series.
