To compete on any one of these tours. Bassmaster opens Elites Toyotas Mlf amy other AA, AAA or pro level is really hard to get a top 10 even. Much less a win. But the money anf tome factor is unreal. And a lil bit of luck is needed. I wanted to be a bass pro growing up. I live in Florida and i fished every day whem i was a kid to the age of like 27. Im 42 now. I have caught thousands and thousands of bass. Alot of big ones. Many over 10. I am really good always outfished most i was fishing with. But its nearly impossible to survive in the pro level unlesd u have other incomes. The stress of having to do very well almost every tournament is crazy. Good luck and God Bless everyone
If you are able to make the EQs and fish them September, October and November and make the elites, won’t most if not all of the sponsorship deals be done already? How are you supposed to get sponsors if you don’t have any?
good question: Opens guys normally are not qualified to October already, so currently a short turn around, that kind of stays the same. Most of these guys have partnerships at this level, you pretty much need to have support to fish the opens, you cannot really wait until you make the Elites
So instead of 9 you now have to fish 7 in one season or am I not understanding this? You fish 1 division which is 4, but then you would have to fish 3 of the EQ’s in the same season?
You got it, if you super froggy, you could fish both division of 4 plus for 11, but I don't think many anglers will do that. And if you get relegated from the Elites, you will only have to fish the 3 to try to requalify
U know what would be a cool tournament. Everbody blindfolded randomly pulls a peice of paper out of a bag with a pic of u bait u gotta use the whole tournament with. I think it would be so interesting. But at the same time it would make luck of the draw way much of a factor.
If it was a no entry fee speciality tournament or charity event I could see it, but don't think the anglers would pay an entry fee for that or if it was big money on the line, but agreed entertaining for fans
I will keep my money on Easton, but I am an Emil Wagner fan as well Interviewed him right after All American - ua-cam.com/users/live5Q7VGUK-fN4?si=cUvXkaJp8VkQywr1
And the opens
