Thank you for sharing this video, I would suggest on top of that, spray white vinegar as it melts all the dirt easier, saving by brushing less.

Looks like a bottle brush (1” diameter stainless steel brush) might work well on the spring.

I can't comprehend why anyone would do this much work to clean the ionizer every week when there is a self-cleaning option available for only a little bit more!!

I'd like to ask you, if I may, I'm having some trouble keeping the pool's cianuric acid in check. I've had to empty ⅓ of the pool water twice, and I'm about a week ek from having to do it again! So, before I start using the Remington Solar Shock what has been in your experience the appropriate cianuric acid percentage in the pool water. I don't want to start using it without making sure I have the right chemistry in my pool water. Please, be so kind to share your advice.

For my pool which is 20’x40’ I use 2 Remington sun shock and 8 (3” chlorine tablets). That’s working for me.

What does it mean when the corrosion is red not the blue/white?

I contacted the manufacturer and this is what they said,
“You probably are using a chlorine with too much acid or stabilizers”
