    Wow amazing!
    Is there a video about pruning and feeding them?
    What do you use to feed them?

    • @growtolearn4545

      Hello swissmaid, thank you for your comment. Yes, there is an earlier video that shows how to prune them. I use an organic blueberry fertilizer and have alot of wood chips as mulch under the landscape fabric. I will try to make a video on that as I get some free time.

      What kind of blueberries?

    • @growtolearn4545
      @growtolearn4545  Рік тому +1

      Hello there, I grow alot of different varieties that bloom at a similar time. This helps with cross pollination and equals more berries.

    That sure was some heat we had early las summer! Those are beautiful plants-hope to catch up to that size in a few years!!

      Thank you! Yes, a few more weeks of that heat would have destroyed alot of plants and trees. Just need some time and they'll get there. Good luck.

    Did you plant any Chandler? How old are your shrubs, and how many years, before they start giving you a good yield? What do you use for fertilizer?

    • @growtolearn4545
      @growtolearn4545  Рік тому +2

      Hello Keith wisely, yes I do have a couple bushes of Chandler. Most of the ones I have are very old. I transplanted them from and old blueberry farm about 15 years ago and they were already like 75 years old

      Before I planted them there was alot of wood chips and horse manure that was brought in and mixed with the soil. I do use fish fertilizer.

      I suppose you can look at the prices of the blueberries in different forms and find out what's profitable for you in your area!

    My goal is to have that many blueberry bushes eventually. Question, what do you plan on doing with all of them? And how many pounds you think you had?

      To put it in short, "quite a bit" we make jam, freeze whole for smoothies, eat fresh, have friends and family pick and everything in between 😅👍

      Hello Neil, this video is only about the blueberries in Washington state and picking them. I do have an earlier video that showes how I prune them. They are on an automatic watering system, they get watered everyday for 15 min each time. Thank you
