Hi Brad - Just purchased the FTC software and came across your video. This may be a silly question but if you dont want Babylock in the middle and decide you want a name, can that be done?
Brad, thank you for this UA-cam...very helpful. BTW, is there a setting to allow for "auto scrolling" when digitizing? Basically when zoomed in to artwork and you need to travel beyond the current view would like the system to move the screen in the direction of where I am attempting to continue to draw. Appreciate your insights. I have another digitizing software that does this automatically and it is a great time saver.
use the arrow keys on your keyboard, that what lets you scroll around while zoomed. I like that a lot better than autoscroll, which often triggers when I don't want it to.

I have to go to the selection tool and click it. Is there something I need to set in a preference or setting? Thanks again

Hi, think you videos are fantastic I have learned so much. Friend asked me to do an eagle. How would I do feathers. I did all highlights. But now I want to fill in with feathers
Mr. Brad, this video says you posted about 6 months ago. Have you filmed part two yet? I’m curious of how to do birds and eye of the needles, plus outlines. You are one of my favorite teachers and if I lived near you,r store, I’d be a frequent flyer! I’m in western PA, but one never knows when I may be in the area! Thanks for all you do!

sure you just would use the lettering tool to put whatever you wanted in there

yeah i show the setting at the beginning of the video. Its in tools, preferences, environment, put a check next to automatically select created paths

Brad what version of FTC are you using, I just purchased mine so should be the latest and my prevences environment page is different than yours?
the version on the cd is super old, you need to update if you haven't. current version is build 3401
