Moved here from SWFL 2 months ago. While I appreciate all of the trees & a few other items, I wasn’t expecting so much cloud cover. Feel like we are in the land of gray skies more often than not. Lack of breeze really threw me off too. Can’t wait until I can sell this house. :-(
Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Being landlocked definitely cuts down on the breeze- especially if you were coastal. But come fall/winter you may be pleasantly surprised because we start getting cold fronts way sooner than South Fla. My family is in south Fla and it’s always much hotter.
@@LindseyJohnsonRealtor I live in Stuart, FL and I'm thinking about moving there for the 3 other seasons we never see here in the Treasure Coast. The only thing I'm nervous about is finding a job that pays well.
@@RicondaRacing We definitely have more of a seasonal change than south Florida (it’s still Florida but less extreme than the bottom half of the state). What do you do for a living?
People always seem to harp on about how nice it is to have a super mild winter, but forget to mention the 9 months of blistering heat and humidity. I'll take a harsher winter to not have to change my shirt every time I walk 3 blocks for most of the year. Hot weather suuuuuuuucks, how is that such an unpopular opinion?
Of concern why does Shands University hospital has such a terrible reputation. - the other hospitals there as well, Looking into medical care there, I read people reporting mostly negative reviews, of course, on line reviews are suspect... However, it is concerning for place limited in healthcare locally. Moving to a new place and not able to secure competent or up to date healthcare - not ideal. Any direct experience there from you or your clients? Thanks for all the videos, they are very good.
Thanks for your comment! I can only speak to my personal experience and it’s been positive. I had both of my children at a local hospital and have had family members who have had medical care and surgery both at Shands and North Florida. I can personally say I’ve had great experiences.
@@cesarcamp we are fairly land locked so while we had some damage it was nowhere near the devastation that other areas saw. Power was restored fairly quickly and biggest issues were downed trees Because we are landlocked, hurricanes don’t bring the storm surge like coastal areas
Legally, I am not allowed as a real estate professional to give opinions on whether or not an area safe because it’s an opinion. Any town you live in will have areas you like or don’t like, so what I typically suggest is to do a search on crime for a particular neighborhood that you might be looking at. In my own experience, I have lived here since college, and have never had any issues. 🙂
Yes please I need to know about rents pls
