Incredible to create such a large and full sound with just three people.
Dude yes! I saw them live and it's amazing how much sound and musical complexity 3 people can put out
I looked at all the pretty lights.
All the distractions from the blue-eyed fx. Our world leaders.

This 3 man orchestra makes me Smile.
This song in particular is really tight live.
Yes, somehow - even with a total different vibe - it reminds me of Littel by Littel live
kind of sloppy really but I love it
Hell yea
@@monkeyxx 🤘
I needed that intro in the studio version >:( absolutely magnificent
I knoooow why didnt they put it in :(
I mean, we kinda get it though, just as the outro instead.
@@MicahBuzanANIMATION without the vocals and drums, but yes it's cool there too
@@MicahBuzanANIMATION yeah but the drums are probably the best part theyre so messy? and when the song begins its simply fantastic. Kinda disappointed by that but its not that big a deal :)
@@yannanas3116 It makes the live versions more special. Maybe they wanted the more ambient outro on the album for the flow of the album?
This was one of the songs I was looking forward to the most in release of this album and finally glad to see a live performance of it. It reminds of this weird Indian type of music and the 2017 version of Follow Me Around as well as The Numbers. This esoteric/avant-garde sounding song like I never heard before especially by members of Radiohead. It is very out there and of course the genius that is The Smile made it brilliant. Well done.
Definitely referenced to the East in sound, vibration, and poetry. Pure genus!
mamador
It's not "weird" Indian music
It's called Indian classical music
Pure heaven. Thank you SMILE'
One of the best songs in their live performance , gorgeous ❤️
Good king of limbs vibe!
Hope theyll be coming to Finland sometime..
Is Jonny looping those first vocal phrases Thom sings at the beginning for use during the rest of the song? Love noticing the subtle things - absolutely amazing, so much detail in their work.
Yes! Love how everything is done live and in the moment (as with Radiohead). Makes their performances so electric. ⚡️
I was going to mention something like that! I thought they were using backing tracks at first, which I thought was odd because they never do. Then I realized they were just looping Thom’s vocals from the intro
it's really neat! and i guess it gives them a reason to have a cool band intro
I am absolutely in love with this album. It really is a Masterpiece!💙🙌🏻
It truly is. And the new material they're debuting live at these shows (for album 2?) is just as good!
Agree now the second album is a Masterpiece too
Happy, happy, goosebumps!!! Wow, wow, wow. Loads of love x
With those intros, Thom and Johnny are slowly becoming Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and i love it!
So good I don't want to sleep
Amazing performance! I'm so glad I got to see them in Oslo in may
please come to brazil!!! please please!!
I was there and loved it... Please stop teasing me and just release the whole thing, it's cruel at this point
Post the whole show please!
I effing love this song!!
Love it!! See you guys in December!
Great song, great performance.

Great performance
Thank you 🙏
Amazing! Can’t wait till you guys come to town❤️
Una hermosura.
Best song on the album.
Look at all the pretty lights, Look at all the pretty lights / I know nothing, I'm just sitting here looking at pretty colours
Me encanta esta canción
The blue eyed fox with the hairdryer haircut will never be in television again from today on. If that is the correct analysis of the song lyrics. Anyway: Great performance.
Awesome ♥️♥️♥️
WOW ! 🔥🔥🔥
Me encanta ❤️👏👏👏
(((Goosebumps!)))))
I never knew Thom Yorke could look so hot, and I'm saying this as a heterosexual man
Good moooorning Mr. Maaaagpie
❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cover that!!!!🎸👍

Damn
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Anti clockwise movements back to the heart chakra from the ground and in a curve up to the heart in a loop. And then into the sky.. push it upwards Always coming back in a loop to your heart. Spirals and Toroids. Push it up up. ❤️
esa capacidad humana de hacer aflorar el amor.
eso son ellos tres.
So much better live imo.
Probably my favorite song off the album. Legit sounds like Radiohead.
💎
THE 🙂
come to brazillll
RIP to jonny's bow....
Esa guitarra, bordó, Thom, cuántos recuerdos con Radiohead.
The best band in the history of human kind.
That would be Radiohead!
@@lms2932 they're basically the same 😉
@@ofir5000 almost but not quite
What's the purpose of the extended intro? To sample sounds?
Yes
Soooo... first thought hearing this... ya sure aliens are more technologically advanced BUUUUUTTTTT when it comes to music... humanity has The Smile & RH.
Broooooooo
Изолента
It seems that someone got influenced by Hereditary's soundtrack at the intro 👀
_Look at all the pretty lights! Look at all the pretty lies..._
We're duped and distracted by the blue-eyed fx. A light for attracting attention! 💥
Is the intro inspired by heriditary soundtrack??
Me pregunto por qué suena tan bajito
that change......
Someone/something blew up the Georgia Guidestones yesterday, the times they are a changing
is it thom's personal hairdryer he's staring at while writing this song?
Blue eyes fox
So Johnny greenwood and Steven Wilson picked up the bass guitar… interesting.
If I had but one wish it would be for Radiohead to collaborate with Jonathan Wilson... I can't even fathom how amazing the results would be...

it's definitely got elements of pink floyd and kraftwerk. i really hope radiohead does get back together and then do a tour with nine inch nails. it would destroy every other tour.
Shame on you, blue eyed fox~
Is it The Donald or Boris or every Brexiteer snowbird in Spain. Any which way, great protest dirge about our current ridiculous times.
Nonsense.
Thom’s singing is absolutely on point. I wish Skinner’s “backing” vocals weren’t there (sounds out of tune and “forced”).
backing vocals where?
Coljj w during “look at all those pretty lights” part
Shame on you, blue eyed fox....
Boring! Sorry I prefer Mr Steven Wilson if porcupine tree from the UK!
stop terrorist russia
#STANDWITHUKRAINE 💙☀
His voice ain't good nowadays
This really had no place on the album. It's a 4 out of 10 song (at best) on a phenomenal album that didn't go below a 7 out of 10 on any other track. It's not like a dip in the album, more of an ouright tumbling fall into a ditch. Live fodder or extra tracks: ok... but there was enough songs, all of quality, on the album to not need padding like this. If I play this album to people I cut this song.
Nah.
it's a great song
Wrong
I like the song - especially the part in the middle. They could have cut a few “Look at all the pretty lights” though.
I find Free in the knowledge to be the oddball track you describe. Hairdryer, on the other hand, has definitely grown on me a lot.
Worst thing thom yorke ever
