    Did you transplant her the day you got her? You mentioned the bag covering to acclimate. So did she sit under the bag then u transplanted after 6-7 days? I just got my first anthurium seedling, it’s 3” and she is traumatized lol. Just got her yesterday & she’s declining more. I am tryin to figure out what to do but every site has diff info. I have pon to transplant.. do I keep her under a bag for a week first? Do u keep her moist in that bag or dry? I tried putting her in my grow tent but the lights made the leaves start to shrivel. I took her out right away. That was before I read to keep it in a bag. My plant came w ZERO instructions.. anyway if you see this, thanks!

      I put this one into water and hydrogen peroxide right away before potting it up. I would suggest that you can place it in pot right away. Just make sure that it is kept in a warm location with medium light. Try to avoid keeping it wet constantly. Allow the soil to get down to 30% dry before watering again. In regards to the light, they don't like too much. And also give them as much humidity as possible (over 65%)

    I've been dying for a Warocqueanum and I'm currently considering buying a struggling import from a woman I know, so finding this video has been incredibly informative and helpful! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this channel 😊🪴

    I like your enthusiasm for your “queen”! She’s a beauty. I have my hoyas in my DIY pon and they love it. I have a obovata that did nothing for about 6 months, but when I put it in pon, it shot out new growth in just a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised. I have my cebu blue in leca, but I’m seriously thinking about transferring it to pon. Great video!

      Thank you so much! I had a similar experience with my other anthuriums. I had them in Leca and they seemed to decline ever so slightly. When I converted them to pon, they took off

    Great video, looking forward to the update. I was about to buy a queen tonight but decided to do some more research first, so thanks!

      Also, it's hard to find Pon here in USA but I have found DIY mixtures on Etsy and my plants have loved it! I prefer it over leca.

    what ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water did you soak the roots in?

    • @RootsReady
      @RootsReady  2 роки тому +1

      Hi there! I use 3% hydrogen peroxide and dilute it to about 1:5

    • @Crypto2638
      @Crypto2638 2 роки тому

      Hydrogen peroxide is water with oxygen basically which does that kind of “burn” when you spray it. It is really useful in orchids to spray the rotta with the 3% one for preventing snails but it works only while you hear it and see it bubbling, then it becomes water. You don’t need to do any ratio because you can use water
