Russ I have been watching you for a while; the elegant simplicity whilst capturing so much value is one of the BEST you have ever done! Love your advanced version of an orbit, so subtle yet powerful, can't wait to try it.
Hello, I just stumbled across this video and saw your comment and thought you might be able to help me with some knowledge about some problems I seem to have. What ND filter to use and when, and maybe how to adjust settings when using them? I’m a dunce on this and would like to expand my knowledge. I have Air2 only. I seem to notice a lot of blurring in my videos if I try to pan, even slowly. Maybe you know of a good tutorial vid on this? Thank you
It's called motion blur. It all depends on what frame rate you're shooting also. I personally like to shoot a lot in 60fps (frames per second) then you can slow the shots down by 50% in post editing to achieve this butter smooth look. When a video looks blurry or choppy during a pan it's because the frame rate is set low and you're turning or panning fast. You're probably shooting in 24 fps vs a higher one like 60. Go into your video settings and try changing your video settings to a higher frame rate and see if that fixes your issue.
I have to say, I find it unfathomable that a drone pilot wouldn’t manually fly their shots and would instead use the master shots. Seems like cheating to me.
My favorite is flying straight into the hill.
Mine is flying into a tower😅

Excellent Short Video. Thank You Russ.
So fancy, Russ; nice work
Does this mode work in all quadcopters?
Great moves!
Litchi waypoints ftw.
I'm practising and trying to gain skill but not on a sitting pile but on running trains, having high hills in the path...

Medium looks a little jerky. Probably should have practiced a few more passes. Are you using the proper nd filter?

That arc is quite confusing... I don't seem to understand when it comes to play. The straight arrows are clear.
The arc is for the gimbal movement
Yes, the arc is the little wheel on the controller that moves the camera gimbal up and down so while you're flying.
I have got the dji yello. I am advanced

Good for people just learning how everything works
Master shots not so masterful as soon as an obstacle is in the way....
none of these are hard at all lol. you just need to get used to your drone.
Please look up “curse of knowledge” good sir.
