i was keeping an eye on the ship other side of devils ridge 😉 also heard the music and assumed it was just a normal meg, then i looked twice seen it was the shrouded meg and got in a panic 🤣
I come across it last night in the roar. The music was weird as hell like yours and in the middle of nowhere. I never saw it surface though we were going with the wind on a sloop. I was like freaking out and highly pissed off
I want to kill the shrouded ghost oneday I’ve seen the all the megs so many time but watch me get the shrouded when I’m solo even tho like what a hundred something spawn a year but I believe hopefully I have a crew while doing it if not I’ll be fine
Word of advice. If you decide to fight a meg, lower anchor _and keep it down._ If the anchor is raised, the meg can push you out of the combat zone with its attacks.
I love how you just stand there motionless, ignoring the meg, then instantly go for the anchor when you realize what is actually happening 😂

Funny Thing I Saw Another Guy Doing a Cargo Run And Got A Shrouded So IG Merchant Runs Are The Key To The Shrouded Ghost

I Thought Megs Were Hard Solo Too. But On A Sloop It Usually Takes About 10 - 13 Cannonballs To Kill A Meg

i feel like the shrouded ghost only spawns on really experienced players who are terrible at the game

yeah was solo sloop, and no one on my friends list plays this game anymore ☹ and by time i changed to open crew i would have this done
