Hearts in the right place. It was kind of annoying to dislodge a light/medium mech that jumped on the wall before, but now it's even worse because it's always a heavy or assault mech boating some spicy alphas sitting up there. Giving access to anyone to get up on the wall was a bit of a mistake. Combined with opening up the center and giving corners where you lose a side torso when you peak it didn't help. I'm glad they tried to refresh the game, I just don't like all of their changes.
The outer ramps to the wall top ought to be removed. Let the Shadow Cats and BJ-3s and Panthers jump up there, from the outside. But assault mechs should have to climb the inner ramps, if they dare. These bowl shaped maps are an absurd subsidy to assault 'snipers', and the result is a far more stationary match than ones in which snipers need to earn and then intelligently adjust their shooting positions. The Emerald Vale map is the other major bad example, if slightly less extreme. Both maps are frequently chosen, because the pilots with the subsidized mechs necessarily will bloc vote for them, as against the other three on offer. Nothing really new, of course. In the early days of MWO, it always seemed like there was an enemy mole within the company, constantly seeking to undo the game by pushing patch updates to hyper-advantage LRMs.
I still don't know why PGI turned a fun, brawly map into sniper hell.

And that’s how you use an Atlas.
Not sure why they dont keep both versions, same with other maps. I missed the old old terra therma.
The real question is why does everyone pick this map in the queue? I play sniper a lot and this map isn’t even that good for farming.

BrioS in his favorite build. Great fight there.
A lot of prominent players in this round. Only TTB was missing ;-).
And everything that is abstract is a construct.
