The SC is too obtuse and entitled to render clear-eyed assessments. He wants to play smart. In this interview, he is deliberately ambivalent simply because the political atmosphere is not as comfortable for Ruto's buddies like him, as has been the case in the period preceding the current protests.
This is by far the most informative video I've come across. Kenya has many problems but clearly, and new evidently, the root of them all is our leaders and their stubborn culture of selfish interests. How can the president intend to rehire someone they fired, in his own words, "upon reflection, listening keenly to what the people of Kenya have said and after a holistic appraisal of the performance of..." the said individuals? Are these people more important than the constitutional role of the ministerial offices they occupy? Or is the president just surrounded by a bunch of idiots? I mean, we just saw the other day a bunch of parliamentarians too blinded to challenge his recommendations just because they are shadowed under his political party. President Ruto had a chance to show Kenyans a gesture of good will and inclusive representation based on merit and integrity, by recommending new and professionally sound Kenyans. If this chance is lost, then the "gods" will be damned.
Lawyer Ahmednassir has said it all. I wish all of us love the truth and say it out openly like himself. Remember he's a Ruto friend but he open-minded says it. Guys RUTO is the problem basi.
