I wouldn't advise casting more than 4-5 ozs with either reel.
Can you make a video comparing the Lexa and the Tranx?
Josh...I just bought this reel...do you carry neoprene reel cover for it?....thanx
I have one questione ..
I read tranx can cast over 10 ounces lures is it true ?
and Daiwa Lexa LEXA400PWR-P can safely throw the same weight ?
what would be the difference between this reel here and the LEXA400HSL-P they seem exactly the same
Got a discount on the 5 gear ratio 400 size power handle?
Thank You :)
Damn, I've been thinking between the Daiwa Lexa 400 or the shimano Torium. Can't decide
Do you need a clicker?
jandhtackle No I dont care for a clicker, i only care for the reel.
Joe Then go with the Lexa. It is much newer and has more features.
Hey Josh, what are your thoughts over the two companies?
Daiwa or Shimano
Both make great products. What are you deciding between?
Josh, the Lexa 400HD what's the heaviers lead can I use for bottom fishing,
I've seen people using 10oz. You just need to be careful.
The 400 series. What type of rod would you place with it. ?
Depends what you are planning to do with it. A Shimano Trevala Rod would be a nice fit.
I'm sorry but we don't do comparison videos.
Could I use the 400 for casting out dead bait for sharks? Like big lemons, blacktips
Chris Phillips Sounds like a lot of fun!
Thanks man jandhtackle love your reviews
Chris Phillips Thanks for the kind words!
So you're serious that you can now catch a shark on a low pro bait caster? Ahh, is there anything that technology can't do.
Yes.
is the lexa also comparable in line speed retrieve?
+1chuckzilla I don't understand your question.
sorry what i meant was. the tranx has 43 inch retrieve per crank was wondering if the lexa was comparable that way also
+1chuckzilla The high speed version of the Lexa is also 43" per crank.
thanks one more question. do you ship to canada?
+1chuckzilla Absolutely!
What gear ratio would you suggest for throwing large profile baits such as huddleston's baitsmith Mag's, BBZ etc. I plan on getting the 300 but i'm not sure what gear ratio would be best fit for my application. Thanks in advance. jandhtackle

Low gear ratio.
Sounds good. Thanks for the quick response. I'll be going with the 300PWR model. Great video btw. Very Informative.
Hey josh, why would one choose this vs the higher ratio one? I plan to use it for surface irons and waxwings and such. Thanks
Get the low gear ratio model.
When you say low gear, you mean the Lexa400pwr-p correct?
