Love the list and your channel! Just ordered some dry erase playing cards to make my own Monikers game. Going to sleeve them so hopefully the marker doesn’t rub off while playing. We’ll see how it goes. I like the idea of everyone creating a few of their own word cards to create the deck.
Thank Just discovered your channel and love it; I really like your discerning vibe and focusing on games you can actually! play with your family young children to the elderly. I really appreciated the video where you went through the BGG top 100 family games and highlighted the ones that are child friendly. ❤️
Interesting list. We had a family weekend a few weeks back. Games that were a hit with everyone were, Birds of a Feather Western North America. Wandering Towers. Fisheries of Gloucester. Cartographers. Silver and Gold Pyramids. Love letter. Oh I have Wonderous Creatures coming at some point from kickstarter, my daughter actually managed to get two extra creature designs in the game 😁
I’m always interested to hear what you are playing. My mom and I tried Birds… and Fisheries… but she wasn’t very interested in those. (I think they are still great!)
This is a great list I might add Nanda Par-bat to my potential buy list for duel shelf. I am also looking forward to the 10th anniversary edition of Splendor (I won’t buy it because I already own the game but I can’t wait to see the new art) thanks for the list 😊
If you are interested in expanding your duel shelf and haven’t heard of Nanga Parbat, be sure to check out other Dr. Finn’s Games. Fisheries of Gloucester is excellent.
@@theperfectboardgame thank you! I’m currently working on getting my first worker placement games but I’ll keep that in mind (suggestions welcome and I know you’ve discussed a few already on the channel)
Two lesser-known worker placement games that are really unique (and I did review) are Trolls and Princesses and Oak. I like them because they both put a spin on “worker placement”
Those games I mentioned are by Game Brewer. I learned they are closing their doors and selling their inventory for 20% off. If you are interested in those two games, buy them now!
