I am happy that Gukesh is back in the game, especially since he is supported by my countryman Grzegorz Gajewski. The match should now get more interesting.
Gukesh was very wise to go for an easy draw in game 2. It would have been easy to panic and push to hard to equalize the match. This is shaping up to be a great match. If Gukesh wins look for India to go totally chess crazy. Even more Hess crazy than they are now.

You are always the best in covering important matches but whenever it comes to the WC you rush out the video. I wish the quality of analysis just like the one you did for 2018 match
it was just a spectacle how ding completely phased out towards the end, he wasted way too much time in the middle game but its understandable! what a game!
Finally a game worthy of the occasion. Ofcourse I am happy to see Gukesh win, but more than that, it was the quality of the chess played that was worth applauding. Its hard to produce 14 such games but let's hope we get maximum number of such games, whoever wins Gukesh or Ding. Also, Gukesh for the second time with the white pieces, failed(or chose not) to castle and had a very bad bishop on f1. Hope he rectifies this scenario in game 5.
How the game one wasn't Ding winning but rather Gukesh losing?!!! Don't get me wrong I am a big fan of Gukesh and I love to see him win the match without a doubt , but we can't get anything away from Ding for winning the first game, he outplayed Gukesh and surprised almost everyone, considering his terrible form in the past year or so.
I too felt that Ding steamrolled Gukesh in game 1! But it's equally impressive to see how well Gukesh steadied himself through game 2 and with a win game 3.
And this is why you don't play for a dumb draw as white in game 2. Ding needed to put the pedal to the metal and burn rubber all over the roadkill. Play for the win in game 2 and it's over. You don't give the other team 4 outs in an inning.

I thought Ding's opening was poor, but I'm not confident that I could have played with sufficient precision to defeat it. Guki played like an engine today. "Go go Guki go go!"
AGAD bro, i am a long time viewer, subscriber, contributor and supporter.. these recap lack a lot.. no one cares what others are doing. I was watching it live, he lost the plot; I remember he did something similar last year. *MAKE A MOVE!* He just let his clock run down and down and was visibly shaking. 2 hours is not enough for him!
no man the first game gukesh didnt lose it was ding who won, he really played an amazing game. we are all rooting for good games but ding played a brilliant game 1
Dunno what really happened, but imo probably to confuse gukesh like game 1 to make gukesh don't know if he walks into Ding's prep or not, because the time trick works pretty well in game 1
Ding’s opening has been super suspect. Wayyyy down on time G1 G3 on lines that one would consider as “likely candidates” among G’s opening. MC himself said G1 he was surprised Ding seemed to be out of prep so early in the French defense.
#suggestion Agadmator arjun and kramnik has played this position before it was not completely new when you mentioned it and do you think arjun can be gukesh secret second?
That bC2 move was bizarre. As soon as I saw it I thought it was going to lead to problems and get possibly trapped. Not sure why Ding did it. Just handed Gukesh control of the game.
@@UnknownUser-j3n The idea is to gain 3 pawns for the bishop with an active position which is enough compensation, but the good continuation requires very precise play. Ding was out of prep and did not find the correct moves, very difficult without engine prep
@@nyern but whats the idea. If you do all that effort to gain 3 pawns for your bishop, why not keep the bishop itself. And not go for that entire line.
@@UnknownUser-j3n It is a thorn in whites position and hinders natural development. Notice how white pieces basically did not go into the other side of the board the whole game. Bf5 instead of Rh5 would've saved the bishop and Black has better pawn structure with control of h file
It’s great to see Gukesh bounces back today. Again, Ding had troubles with his time control and inaccuracy moves. Tomorrow is a rest day for them to recover
#suggestion - would you be able to put each players’ score in the match next to their picture, so next game we’d be able to see the whole way through that they each have a point and a half? great coverage so far, keep it up!

Damn, that agadmator animator in the intro is pure gold
You also avoid eye contact during the pause the video moment, you are also a true legend
Never seen a game so difficult, the b3 pawn made all the difference and no black Queen-side pawns could move forward.
I thought Ding's opening was poor, but I'm not confident that I could have played with sufficient precision to defeat it. Guki played like an engine today. "Go go Guki go go!"
I don't know what sorcery is that, but the new intro makes me like the video even before the game starts. Congrats!
AGAD bro, i am a long time viewer, subscriber, contributor and supporter.. these recap lack a lot.. no one cares what others are doing. Quality over quantity.. in this case i suggest quality over time! Let these videos be memorable for those after us! Don’t show the games for today, show them from today! In 20 years, this comment will make the observer feel today :)
Love you always!
You missed mentioning that Gukesh has finally defeated Ding in Classical!
When you are carrying hopes of 1.5B people, but you are just a lowkey 'chill guy' 🗿🗿

We are not 15 million .. we are 1.5 billion .. because we have big diks and powerful seamen 😂😂 … our men don’t spray oatmeal like the white men
1.5B from either of sides

Agadmator finally moving to 1.33M subscribers after I don’t know how many years 🎉
I was watching it live, he lost the plot; I remember he did something similar last year. *MAKE A MOVE!*
He just let his clock run down and down and was visibly shaking. 2 hours is not enough for him!
When the video is 15+ minutes i know that the game was a great one!
Gukesh
Keep Going
Great game
Ding don't worry equall points 🎉❤🎉❤
Thanks Tavarish for give us the moves. 😊
no man the first game gukesh didnt lose it was ding who won, he really played an amazing game. we are all rooting for good games but ding played a brilliant game 1
I don't know why Ding spends so much time in opening and then struggles in middlegame. Am I missing something?
I believe 3 first games were all fixed😂😂😂
Ding just makes this to confuse his opponent and the audience. 😊
Dunno what really happened, but imo probably to confuse gukesh like game 1 to make gukesh don't know if he walks into Ding's prep or not, because the time trick works pretty well in game 1
@@RayAja-m7b No that's false, none of them were fixed.
May I recommend putting the current score up somewhere by their pics?
Virtually no explanation. I like the coverage by Ris better, he explains much more.
Super fast ❤️
Love the way of your hard work ❤️true dedication 😍
Ding’s opening has been super suspect. Wayyyy down on time G1 G3 on lines that one would consider as “likely candidates” among G’s opening. MC himself said G1 he was surprised Ding seemed to be out of prep so early in the French defense.
#suggestion Agadmator arjun and kramnik has played this position before it was not completely new when you mentioned it and do you think arjun can be gukesh secret second?
Kramink vs Arjun was another game that went on till Bc2. So from move 11 it was a complete new game
Can't believe that Ding played rook to H5 instead of bishop to F5 to save it. Gave Gukesh like 7-8 moves to prepare the trapping of the bishop.
Gukesh has to continue his onslaught
That bC2 move was bizarre. As soon as I saw it I thought it was going to lead to problems and get possibly trapped. Not sure why Ding did it. Just handed Gukesh control of the game.
@@MrFootofDavros Put pressure on c3 pawn to limit white opening options. It was okay move but he blundered it later with Rh5
@@nyernbut what was there to gain? Just a doubled c pawn? Was it worth it.
Bf5 instead of Rh5 would've saved the bishop and Black has better pawn structure with control of h file
while in position at 11:52, how about ding Ne5-g4 instead a6...???
it's threatning white's blacksquare bishop which backup white knight.
The bishop was lured into the deep dark forest.
Wow what a game, thanks for the content, keep up the great videos 👍
I am actively refreshing for this
