I've had a huge interest in the Caucasus region as a whole for a couple of years now, especially due of its interesting linguistic and cultural diversity. But out of all Caucasian languages, I find Chechen to be the most pleasant sounding one
I like how many articles on Wikipedia have a Chechen (Нохчийн) version, much more than other North Caucasian languages, I hope the language flourishes on.

It's interesting that so many people in Chechnya like French. There's indeed a large Chechen community in France. I've learned a few phrases in Chechen, hope I can apply them someday and improve my knowledge of Chechen though.

But in general Chechens I've heard have a good level of French, even those who learned it later in life. Unlike many foreigners, they already know how to pronounce R, EU and U (because it's a bit like Chechen гӀ, оь and уь). But trust me Chechen is really hard for French people or even for anyone who hasn't learned it from birth... but it's very nice, I'm happy to be able to say a few words and phrases.

Italian is also considered the most romantic language... As for me Tamil and Sinhalese are the most melodious languages... Japanese is quite emotional.... Turkish and Russian sounds really good....persian, hindi and Urdu are very beautiful... Arabic has no competition as it’s the language of heaven..❤️❤️ French sounds very exotic but can feel a very deep connection with Spanish.... And Portuguese is like someone is speaking Spanish in french accent which made it really beautiful...

I think many Chechens just don't trust outsiders because they had to fight so many different nations in History. I am from Algeria, every Chechen I speak to was very respectful to me and my country. But I agree ultra Nationalist/Tribalist thinking is very silly and backward
I believe that Chechen nationalism is much better than ukrainian, Serbian or Albanian nationalism. Chechens simply keep up with the times, while not forgetting their language, culture and history. The only thing that is essentially required of visitors is to respect local customs and locals, and everything will be fine.

French is a melodious and beautiful box, but it's hard to learn. especially the written version.
